ETA pending after 2 weeks?

ETA pending after 2 weeks?

Hi! My family of 6 (all Singaporeans) applied for ETA online on 14 October and submitted additional documents by 18 October but till now, only 1 has been approved on 26 October and the rest are still under status "Received". Different groups of people that I know who applied for ETA between (Jul to Oct) have gotten their visas approved within 2 days. We are clueless about why ours is taking so long.. Will it help to apply for ETA through the app? BOT (faster) vs Manual (slower)? Seems like the backlog for manual processing is not resolved yet?

p.s. 3 years ago, we got our ETA approved the next day.

FWIW - I applied via the app and it was approved in 24 hours. Actually a little under 24 hours. I'm from the US.

The only way eligible people should be applying for an ETA is with the app: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/electronic-travel-authority-601

There may still be agents who will do that for you, but why would you take the extra risk of someone messing it up for you?

Two weeks is not long. Many people wait months. You should not book anything non-refundable until your visas are approved.
