I get a message that I am unable to check in online and have to go to an agent at the airport. Never had this happen before. Anyone else experiencing this?
It's probably because they need to check your documents in person. It's happened to me before.
I agree. Whenever they won't let you check in online it usually means something requires personal attention at the airport.
Additional document check , I would imagine.
I suggest that you allow plenty of extra time at the airport to sort this out
Thanks everyone. I suspect it's because my husband is bringing a portable oxygen concentrator on board. We have all the proper documentation but I am sure they have to check it out. Makes sense.
Are you flying overseas? Or just with in the USA?
If it is overseas then it might be that the airline will not issue boarding passes till they check if your Covid requirements are met as well as entry requirements to enter where you are going.
I expect the oxygen is the issue because there are some restrictions around that. Has to be secure because of course o2 is a fire hazard so arrive early
