Ozen absolutely lived up to our high expectations from seeing reviews here, and we had the most memorable week! We started with an incredibly smooth arrival experience, quickly being greeted at the airport to taken on a smooth boat transfer (luckily just the 2 of us) to a joyous welcome at the island. Our butler Mira, who was brilliant during the whole stay, greeted us and showed us around. We stayed at a lovely beach villa which we arrived to with honeymoon bed decorations and was really nice with incredible sea views. The views are just amazing here. We had an issue with our room where they were pumping sand onto the beach which spoilt our beach a bit. They were incredibly apologetic and helped us move to another room in a great location so supported us really well. Staff were consistent in their kindness and high quality of service all week. We loved diving here. The dive team are very experienced, and made the dive experience so so relaxing. It was my wife's first time diving post qualification and they made it zero stress. We had a dive guide for just the two of us, and little things impressed like how there was a German speaking diver for the Germans, russian for the Russians etc. We saw loads of the dives, and there's nothing like finishing a dive to have dolphins all around you. The diversity of restaurants is super nice. Mira booked all our dinners for us and we could just WhatsApp her to change anything. 5 mins later and it's sorted. Quality of food was good, buffet is best I've ever had. M6M is almost Michelin star experience. Cocktails were also super nice, and having different champagne's in each restaurant is a very classy touch.
So where could they improve? Not much in our view, but only some pedantic points. The wine list was extensive but there was little detail on the wines. The staff didn't know much either.. so felt like a guessing game. No draught beer was a bit of a miss too. We didn't bring enough suncream so had to buy some more from the shop. It was 50 USD for a bottle.. which is just profiteering.. no need to rip us off for that. Finally Hudhu Bay.. we loved it there but please increase your playlist from the same 8 songs 😂

My wife and I decided to take the opportunity to get away from the winter of the UK as the cogs of global travel begin to turn again for our delayed honeymoon given the disruption faced this year. We chose Ozen by Atmosphere as we had always dreamed of a trip to the Maldives with an over-water villa. We were met on arrival to the island and taken straight to our villa by our butler Kunal. If you choose to stay on the island and are lucky enough to have Kunal as your butler, you won't be disappointed. Checking in to our villa was seamless and contactless given the circumstances of the global pandemic. Kunal had taken the liberty of creating an itinerary for us across the week with reservations at restaurants, excursions booked and recommendations across the week. If we needed to change anything or request anything during our stay, he was always happy to assist and no request, big or small was a problem. Kunal really couldn’t have looked after us any better and his attentive manner ensured we had a truly fantastic week.
If you are a food or drink lover, the island does not disappoint. The variety and selection of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner was superb. However, the quality of the food and drink across all restaurants was top drawer. For food lovers such as my wife and I this well exceeded our expectations and where it says on the website about being an all-inclusive with no hidden costs, it really was with no surprises at any point allowing us to relax and enjoy the week and all aspects of the all inclusive offering.
All staff were brilliant. The island is beautiful and a very relaxing place to spend any period of time. All staff in every restaurant, on every excursion, all cleaning and maintenance staff, everyone you interacted with were a delight and this adds to the overall feel of the island as well and it rubs off on the guests.
We spent nights in both the Wind Villa with and without the pool to experience sunrise and sunset, both of which are very nicely finished and presented throughout all rooms. I would recommend the Wind Villa with the pool if you want to see more fish and life in the lagoon as it is less rocky and attracts plenty of reef sharks and rays. While the name of the rooms are Wind Villas on the island, this shouldn't put anyone off. A couple of days were more blustery than others but they came as more of a welcome relief to the stillness of the otherwise constant 30 degree heat. The only thing to note that was a little disappointing was the building of a new island to the north of the islands which meant that that sandbanks being created and the cranes creating them are visible from the wind villas that are on the side that don't have pools. While not the biggest issue in an all round incredible stay, it does take you away a little from the feeling of being in a secluded island paradise seeing a more industrial set up.
Overall though our stay was fantastic and lived up to all of the expectations we had when booking. We would recommend the island to anyone wanting any period of time where you can relax in paradise, meet great people and enjoy quality food and drink in a beautiful setting. I hope we are able to get back again!

What a memorable holiday.. much needed getaway after a low-key 2020.. we were warmly welcomed at the airport by the staff of Ozen, our bags were identified and then taken to their beautiful property at Maadhoo. We were a group of 4 families, in the over-water villas. Rooms were big, and very tastefully done with a big bathroom, deck over looking the sea, a lovely hammock which was just perfect to lie on and enjoy the view.. It was paradise from the moment we got there. The views were brilliant, food was excellent. And the staff were the most friendly I have ever met. We had taken an all-inclusive package. The manager Sajesh Kana took very good care of us, making sure everything was going well. Chef Varun would meet us everyday and prepare dishes of our choices, also taking various allergies into considerations since we had kids with us. Do take the sunset cruise while you are there and also try out the snorkelling. A lovely property to stay at.. would highly recommend this place.

Thank you to the staff at Ozen life Maadhoo. We (2 adults 3 kids ages 5, 8 & 10) had a super stay in May and were more than looked after by our Butler, 'Forty' he was a superstar. The room was generous with a separate double bedroom the 3 kids slept in. Sheshkanta made sure we were comfortable, kept our messy room tidy and the bar stocked with Champagne 😊.
The indulgence package must be one of if not THE BEST IN THE MALDIVES. Our bill at the end of the week was zero! The staff were superb and the selection of wine, alcohol and choices of food were vast.
Included in the price, every day snorkelling. We rocked upto the boat at 9am and went snorkeling for an hour on a different reef. The kids came too and we saw, sharks, mantaray, turtles, the biggest squidyest pink starfish I have ever seen, and beautiful coloured fish of all shapes and sizes. The staff Jojo, Messi and Ammaty, were very helpful and encouraging with our little ones and it was no problem if our youngest wanted to go back to the boat.
After we would head over to catch breakfast, Shazeen was an excellent waiter, remembering the kids names each day and we ate a feast every morning, eggs any way you like, fruit etc... If you have sailed before, the boats were in mint condition, and weather perfect so my husband took my son out, again all included in the price. I think you pay for an instructor if you have not sailed.
We also had a couple of amazing massages at the lovely spa, in little huts over water (included!) the kids went to the kids club in this time, no need to book! The kids club was more of a babysitting service, they did a little art stuff, played in the pool, watched a bit of TV.
We had lunch at either the pool bar with amazing service from Micca, the bar changed its menu daily. The main restaurant Palms was also very good. We booked in to the other restaurants for dinner. The underwater restaurant was both fun and delicious and the wine selection amazing. Joanne was the perfect host. The kids were mezmerised by the fish especially when some reef sharks went past.
Raw wasn't open due to covid I think, the location is next to the spa and a lovely calm spot, perhaps the space could have been used as a tea or coffee bar, or canapés as we went there a few times to chill out.
The two restaurants under one roof were very nice to visit once, but a little too similar to go to each twice. We were happy with the main restaurant and the choices were good.
Overall it was a lovely 7 days, and we would highly recommend Ozen, especially for its impressive service. Thank you

We booked Ozen for our honeymoon in a split stay of earth beach villa n wind water villa with pool. The total experience in this property was awesome& memorable ; enjoyed every moment in here. Firstly we were welcomed by Ozen staff on the airport and escorted to the waiting lounge at male airport till the speed boat arrived. The speed boat was luxurious AC one with sofa seatings ; water, toffies, wifi was available on the boat. The 45 min boat ride was comfortable and did not bother us much then we had thought of. Then when we arrived at Ozen ; the resort staff welcomed us with flowers , leaves garland etc. was really overwhelmed with the hospitality. We were then introduced to our assigned butler Mr.Kunal who welcomed us made us comfortable. He sent our luggage in our villas and till then toured us through the entire resort/property briefed us everything in detail and explained us the entire iternary he had prepared for us during our stay. He was extremely helpful and co-operative to make changes according to our comfort. He was the POC for our entire stay and he made sure to make our stay memorable in Ozen. The experience in villas in Ozen was superb we stayed in both water villas and beach villas and were extremely satisfied with cleaning services and the amenities. Must mention the villas are very spacious as compared to other resorts/properties in Maldives and well kept. Just loved our stay in there. The experience with food in ozen across all the restaurants were delicious, the service at restaurant was great... each person was happy to serve/attend. We were lucky enough to experience the grand grill at palms on Friday evening and special thanks for Mr.Tyagi and Mr.Nasir for reserving a table on the beach for that evening and arranging champagne which just made our day. To sum it up we really enjoyed our vacation at Ozen will strongly recommend it to everyone and as it was my honeymoon it will always be locked in my memory. Special mention to the complete staff at Ozen from the chefs, staff-mangers at restaurants, our Butler, the Spa staff etc their hospitality was just amazing.

Our very dear friends chose this lovely resort to celebrate their milestone birthdays and wedding anniversaries and we went along with the plan.Our holiday was Magical and enhanced ,from the moment we arrived , by the hotel staff , management , and our private butler Kunal who assisted us with anything and everything with a positive attitude and a big smile! The water bungalows were well designed , spacious , comfortable and impeccably clean with prompt room service.The food quality and presentation in all the restaurants were top class and the chefs were ever ready to cook our preferences.Through our entire stay the selection of wines, champagnes , whiskies and cocktails were premium- a special mention for the gin tasting hosted by Manak. The evening was unforgettable . Our very very special thanks to Ms. Louisa , who manages this beautiful property, she is extremely helpful, friendly and always happy to hear any concerns from the guests . She helped with arrangements for special candle lit dinners by the beach and curated fantastic menus for each special occasion . My wife and I stayed here for a few nights in early December and absolutely loved it. We had a beach villa with a private pool. It was a perfect location because we were close to the beach, the pier, the ice cream shop, the diving center, close to pretty much everything but it was still totally private and secluded. The food at all the restaurants was amazing and the wine pairings at the underwater restaurant were awesome too. The staff really went out of the way to make sure everything was perfect. Our butler, Baari, took care of all the dinner and activities reservations before we even got there, which was great because it left us with nothing to worry about. Our room attendant, Suzan, took great care of us too and after we asked Baari to set up a nice bath for my wife Suzan had a nice bubble bath ready with rose petals and decorated the bed to say happy anniversary for our wedding anniversary. At the Indian restaurant on of the servers, Pritam, helped to find some not spicy food for my wife since she really doesn't like it. He also recommended a nice menu choice so that we got to try a little bit of everything they had to offer. I also had a great experience at the diving center with Taka. I did a refresher course since it had been a few years and then two dives after that. On the second dive I over exerted myself and was having trouble catching my breath and needed to call of the dive to resurface. She was right there to make sure that I didn't panic and safely resurfaced. Then she on the spot planned another dive location that was a much easier drift dive and that went off without a problem. We even got to see sharks, tuna, octopus, a sea turtle, and tons of other stuff. All and all I would say this was one of the best trips we have ever had and I can't recommend this resort enough. Hopefully we can come back some day.

For this stay we selected a two bedroom beach villa that proved to be a very welcome home for a small family gathering including travelers from the Ukraine and the United States. The beach villa was beautifully maintained both before and during our stay. With immediate access to the fine sand beach of The Maldives the opportunity to enjoy the beautifully warm waters was literally only steps away. Without exception every member of the staff was readily at hand to make us welcome and very well cared for without exception. The resort is all inclusive with few exceptions. A featured restaurant is actually located below the gentle waves where the diners are in the aquarium for the mutual enjoyment of the sealife and the patrons. A visit to this delightfully curated restaurant is included and features both a fabulous menu and exceptional service. The resort features 4 restaurants together with a large bar and entertainment venue which also features a distinctive "gin" bar where you can sample a wonderful variety of gins from across the globe. With its year round temperate environment and warm crystal blue seas and more than 320 days of sunshine per year, OZEN Life Maadhoo proved to be a delightful location to truly relax and enjoy a great escape featuring exceptional services. Having traveled in more than 150 countries, across more than 400 resorts, this reviewer would rank OZEN Life Maadhoo among the highest value for the money locations visited.

This was our 4th visit to the resort and I have to say, it never disappoints - my family and I love this place. We’re convinced heaven would look and feel something like this! There’s no feeling quite like waking up to an uninterrupted view of the ocean or watching the sunset with a cocktail by the pool. Plus the food is incredible, which is a major draw for us!
Simah, our butler, was amazing as always. Nothing is ever too much trouble. All of our needs were taken care of, whether it’s helping us to book the restaurants, massages, snorkelling trips, boat excursions and, in a first for us, the baby sitting service. Simah also made sure we were able to stay in our preferred room and had some where to wash and change when we arrived whilst the room was being made up. It was all hugely appreciated so thank you for everything you did, Simah!
I won’t lie, the overall experience is slightly different post-Covid but it’s safe to say we’re already talking about trip number 5. Ozen has a special place in our hearts and this year in particular, with everything that’s happened, it was so nice to be able to see some familiar faces and enjoy some time with our family as well as a number of other families that we met whilst we were there. Our son thoroughly enjoyed himself as did we.

Lynne is spot on with her response. I'll simply add that as you can only use M6m once a week I'd tend to go for a lower number so as to be nearer the other three restaurants and the beach.

Hi, we visited just after New Year and unaware of any construction work. I felt very critical of the Earth Rooms with pool as we paid an extremely high price at this time. The Earth Villa was a little tired in the bathroom in my opinion and outside area could have done with refurbishment at this price level! We moved to a Wind Villa with pool but with another uplift in price.

You would need to book the specialty restaurant in advance, and only a number of visits are allowed per stay I think. If however you went and decided you preferred the buffet I’m sure you could go there afterwards.
There are more places to choose from in the Maadhoo Island area.
