Had our worst experiences with horrible services provided at the rides in Hong Kong Legoland during our trip to Hong Kong.
We do not usually write comments but we are incredibly upset with one of their staff members named “Rachel” at both of the rides called The Merlin’s Apprentice and The Kingdom Quest; not only as she kept rudely slamming the ride doors on purpose but also yelling to other guests and including us with a terrible and disgusting attitude for no reasons while loading the rides, which we could never expect to experience such terrible customer services under Merlin Entertainment.
It is incredibly upsetting that this experience has haunted one of my daughters as she never expected to be treated so awfully bad by their staff named “Rachel”! As guests who have been to other Legolands around the globe, we are deeply disappointed and dissatisfied with their staff raging over the guests for no specific reasons.
Frankly speaking, we doubted that there was any proper customer service training especially for “Rachel”, not to mention that it could be extremely dangerous for having staff with such temper issues to operate the rides.
We have been a huge fan of Legoland Parks and other theme parks including the Shrek’s Adventure one that is also under Merlin Entertainment’s operation, but now we are completely disappointed with the terrible services coming from the specific staff at Hong Kong Legoland. We believed that the way she presented her awful attitude showed her she did not want to be working there; in such case, she should not be working in a company or position where she is supposed to bring happiness and create beautiful memories for the kids and other guests with just proper and basic customer services and manners.
It is such a shame that our encounters have created dreadful memories for our kids as one of my beloved daughters kept asking me “Why is she so angry with us? Did I do something wrong?” even after we finished our trip to Hong Kong.
Such encounters will no doubt affect the reputation of the company and our expectations of our future experiences to other parks that are under Merlin Entertainment.
