Transfers were completed in a friendly and professional manner. The guides on the other side of the border were also friendly and professional. - solovikauae69 contributionsCuckoo safaris were excellent, we loved the fact that they were always reachable and ready to solve any issue. I would definitely recommend them.
As for the trips, we've enjoyed the village tour, I wish we could have brought some used clothes for the people. We went to the supermarket instead and bought some groceries.
The sunset cruise was very relaxing with some stunning scenery along the way. The safari in Chobe was good although probably too short. I would rather have stayed in Chobe for a couple of nights. We ended up going to Hwange instead, would write a separate review on that. Communication and booking via email and WhatsApp was easy. I was picked up from my hotel as discussed, the transfers and driver were very comfortable, the Mokoro guide was great and the bush walk was fabulous too. This year in April things are a bit dried than usual and water levels are lower but the team informed me about this before I left. We saw a lot of animals, even though at this time of year they are more spread out because the rains have fallen. Our drivers and tour guides were punctual and professional. The boat ride was wonderful with up from viewing of the grazing herds and especially those animals that are in and out of the water. Hippos, lizards, lots of crocodiles, elephants, and Buffalo. - Vadim M1 contributionWe went with this operator not expecting too much but the quality of service was outstanding. Communication via WhatsApp was great. We were picked from our hotel in time and quickly transferred to Botswana very smoothly. There we changed the vehicle to a legendary Land cruiser safari edition and went for an exciting game drive in Chobe. After this we had a delightful lunch and continued to a boat cruis on the Chobe river. This was a cherry on the cake. We saw huge crocodiles, hippos and of course elefants up close. The experience was amazing. I am really happy that I went with United Safari on this tour. - Amanda FCheltenham, UK3 contributionsWe have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Livingstone which was made exceptional by having the 3day/2night trip to Chobe, provided by Kalahari Tours. Our guide, Six, was clearly experienced and knowledgeable, as well as being interesting and fun, and made sure that we got to see so many animals during our trip, the highlight being able to see families of lions at close quarters each day of our trip. I was nervous of the idea of camping prior to going however it truly enhanced the whole experience. The staff supporting Six - Bennett and Amos looked after us really well and provided great food. - Compass352201502371 contributionThe driver (Cliff) was very kind and he was very quick and good at communicating with us on WhatsApp.
The car was comfy and clean and the drive was very smooth so we could relax and enjoy the journey.
The day trip was very organised and there was never a point where we didn’t know what was happening.

He was from the beginning till the end enthousiast and very busy to find animals. We bever had such a good guide. He made a very tastefull lunch for us We had a wonderfull day. - Justin CVancouver, Canada10 contributionsAlthough short, our one-day Chobe Safari tour departing from Vic Falls was a truly memorable safari and in some ways eclipsed our earlier safari in Kruger National Park. Doing both a safari by boat and another in a 4x4 vehicle added variety to the day, with an excellent buffet meal at one of the resorts sandwiched in between. During the boat cruise, we saw many land animals on the shore, but most notably elephants splashing mud on themselves to cool down from the hot sunny day. We also saw crocodiles, giant lizards, and hippos. During our 4x4 drive, we saw HORDES of elephants, giraffes, buffalo, impalas, etc. in incredible numbers all around you - it was such an amazing sight. Finally, the true highlight was coming across these lions hiding in the shade of trees - we drove up super close to them and that was just such a surreal and still safe experience.
