This quaint and versatile living space is located in the heart of the Acadian community of Clare, in Church Point.
Whether you always wanted to visit Clare or you are a seasoned visitor with links to Université Sainte-Anne, golf, Mavillette beach, biking or Acadian cuisine. This Nova-Scotia beach cottage will surely make you feel at home.

The space
We are in Church Point, Nova Scotia, overlooking a tidal marsh with sunrise and sunset views and within walking distance to Grandy Beach (Anse à Ticken).
One bedroom with king bed and additional bunk beds in a corridor leading to the the full bath\laundry room.
The kitchen is well equipped to prepare basic meals for the family.

Guest access
You will have full access to the whole cottage there will be no other guests present.
There is a portable gas BBQ in the new shed out back. Just open the door and it is right there to your left. Bring it to the picnic table and follow instructions for lighting. It is ready to go. Please shut it off when you are done and return it to the shed once it has cooled off completely. Please wash the grills before you put them back. You may put the grills in the dishwasher or hand wash with scrubber provided. (Under the sink) Enjoy your stay.

Other things to note
This would be a perfect spot to do a "workation" combining business and leisure.

The Shanty has a king size bed and a set of bunk beds. Perfect for a family or a friends getaway.

You should be warned that the ceiling is rather low in the kitchen area with a beam that is at 6 feet between the kitchen and the living area. For us shorter folks it is no problem at all. But… if you are over 6 feet you will have to be careful.

You are welcome to take your time and enjoy the beach house until noon on the day of your departure. However, if you leave early we would appreciate it if you let us know as we live about 15 minutes away. We may decide to get an early start on cleaning for the next guests.
