- Rodney PAuckland, New Zealand315 contributionsThis area is a must see when visiting Shanghai. Be sure to take the ferry across the river at a cost of only 2 RMB per person as this gives a great perspective of both the Bund side and the new districtsWritten May 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The fabrics and suits are of very good quality at a very reasonable price. Also the service is fast and very good, the suits have been perfect, but we have been told repeatedly that if we need to make any adjustments, they would do it without problem.
Overall a great store with great service and suits.Written May 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jeffry bEssendon, Australia13,319 contributionsThe Oriental Pearl Tower is a landmark of Shanghai that few visitors miss. The Oriental Pearl Tower was worth visiting, it's a standout 875 feet tall. You can get something to eat if you visit the tower. It's in Pudong, which means "Eastern City" in Shanghai. Oriental Pearl Tower is a monument to progress in Shanghai's Pudong New Area. We have visited this area several times, it helps make the trip to Shanghai worth the trip.Written May 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - David W9 contributionsArrived as part of a tour group. Many signs are in English and Chinese. Reading the main signs on entry to each gallery sets the scene. As you approach some exhibits their lights come on so you can study them in more detail.
Beautiful building with circular roof and square walls – yin and yang. I also liked the subtlety of the staircase an one side was mirrored by the escalator on the other side of the atrium.Written April 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Martin ASuzhou, China3,120 contributionsFor lots of foreigners in Shanghai, this is the place to go. It still looks French and there is an international feel as there are restaurants from all over the place. So many restaurants. So much great food. It's a great place to walk and a great place to eat!Written February 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Peter Jackson1 contributionA lot of things changed during COVID-19 Pandemic, but not the extraordinary service provided by Heping Fandian's team! Heping Hotel has been my favorite hotel in China since 2018. I met Zoey, their talented and excellent front desk operator who helped me a lot during my stay. China is changing rapidly since last I was there. Zoey was kind and informative. She made my visit in China much more easier. The room she gave me have impeccable street view. It always makes me want to extend my stay.Written June 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Erico2709Singapore, Singapore2,396 contributionsIf you are looking for interesting food other than Chinese food, this is a good place to start. Even if not for meals, taking a stroll and taking in the architecture is just as pleasant.Written April 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Christian SKongens Lyngby, Denmark7 contributionsThe museum is a fantastic time machine bringing you back to a bygone era in China. The posters were engaging and interesting to watch. You can easily spend and hour here. There is also a good museum shop where you can even buy original posters.
Finding the museum was a bit tricky. It is located between two banks on Yannan road.Written May 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. However to get this view we had to upgrade to the VIP tickets on the boat, which puts you at the front of the boat. That gives unobstructed views. Important to note though that people are allowed to smoke on the boat and they do. The volume of people pushing in the lines to get to the boat, on the stairs and at the top of the boat was troubling to us, noting this might not be an issue for others. We think it is a must do whilst in Shanghai and upgrading to the VIP is important if you want space, an outside view and not be pushed as much.Written March 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
