Private transfers Air Canada Vacations

I have booked a private transfer as part of my vacation package with ACV. When I arrive in PUC do I look for them or do they look for me? Thanks in advance for your input.

What do you mean private transfer? Of note, ACV provides transfers with any packages. Did you pay extra to ensure it is private? Note that some resorts part of ACV vacations already have private transfers (like Secrets Cap Cana). In any event, you would still go to the ACV rep right when exiting Terminal A to let them know you have a separate transfer and if part of the regular transfer, they will let you know what van or mini-bus number you have to report to. Then if truly a private transfer the reps/drivers will normally be lined up on the outside wall by the side walk exit and will have a sign with your name on it.

I paid extra for a private transfer. My booking says the following;

TRANSFER PUNTA CANA PRIVATE TRANSFER SERVICE

call A/C vacations and ask ... unless there is a rep on here . Private to me is through someone else . We have booked our own the last 10 visits. Where are you staying ? sometimes a cab is no diff.

If you book a resort in Transat's Luxury Collection, you get a private transfer included with your package but they use an outside transfer company. I would assume that Air Canada has something similar. As SlyGuy mentioned, the company rep will be outside of the airport holding a sign with your name on it. Make sure you tell the Air Canada rep you are taking a private transfer, so everyone on the shared transfer isn't sitting waiting for you.
