Vueling recently changed the availability of online checking with random seat allocation, as a measure to force passengers to pay for a seat (otherwise, they have to check-in at the airport, which is always inconvenient). It clearly does not cost Vueling anything to allow customers to checkin online with randomly allocated seats, and that they are only doing this to get more money from customers who do not want the inconvenience of airport check in. I find this really deplorable. If they want to increase the rates, just do it, but do not deceive clients with other charges further down the line. This does not give a good impression of a company.…
