該大學科勒爾蓋布爾斯的主校區面積達239英畝（0.97平方公里）[5]，大學的絕大多數課程都在這裡授課[6]。但是邁阿密大學醫學院校區位於邁阿密市中心。

邁阿密地鐵設有University站，有橙線和綠線的列車服務，從邁阿密大學旁的University站坐地鐵到邁阿密市中心僅需12分鐘，到邁阿密國際機場耗時約半小時（搭乘橙線）。
