From Glendora Ridge Road, follow the fire road up the mountainside. While some areas are more open and sunny, there is decent shade provided by trailside trees and shrubs. The summit has great views and is marked with a sign and a USGS marker. The trailhead road closes seasonally during the winter, adding 2 miles to the distance reflected from the trailhead on this route.

It was super cold today and tried to hike before the rain arrived. Decided to hit Colver Peak and Sunset Point as well. Mostly on fire road. But you can opt for the ridge and that is fun slipping and sliding in soft dirt. It was snowing for a bit on the way down on the mountaineer’s route. Glad we triple peaked!
