必學商用英文！如何寫一封催款函？
遇到奧客不付錢怎麼辦？雖然我沒辦法提供法律上的方法，但可以分享要怎麼寫信追討。
追討也有分等級。我們會在要到繳款截止日前季第一封，那封信我們稱作「繳款提醒信」；若過了期限還沒收到款項，我們會寄第二封信，這時通常都會先視為對方可能是不小心忘記，因此口氣上會較和緩，並給第二次的截止日期；若對方還是沒回覆，這時口氣就要更堅定，並在信中註明我們會採取必要措施，例如法律途徑，而這通常會出現在第三封或第四封催款函中。
不論是哪種催款函，基本上都是照著以下這個架構：
1. Background
告訴讀者寫信的理由。
I am writing about order ABC123 as we have yet to receive payment.
I am again writing about order ABC123 as it is now significantly overdue.
2. You haven’t paid me
告訴讀者他還沒付款，也提醒對方，若逾期可能會有罰金。
I would like to point out that overdue payments will incur an interest penalty of up to 20%.
We are extremely concerned that this matter has not yet been resolved.
3. Pay me
請對方盡快付款，否則要採取法律途徑。
Please make payment to the amount of NT$10,000 by 12 June.
If we do not receive your payment by 12 June, we will have no choice but to pursue legal action.
4. Contact me
若對方有任何問題，請聯絡你。
We look forward to receiving payment.
Please contact us immediately if there are any questions about the outstanding amount.
以下是魔法商店寫給哈利波特的催款函:
Subject: Urgent: Final Reminder for 144565/HHR
Dear Mr. Potter:
We are again writing in regard to the above order of one Firebolt Broom, one deluxe broom-cleaning kit, one deluxe magic wand, and one large cauldron, which were purchased from our store on 15 February. The total price of this order is US$35,000. At that time, it was stipulated that payment was due on 1 April.
However, to date, no payment has been made despite our contacting you on 4 occasions (12 April, 24 April, 4 May, and 18 May). The payment is now two months overdue and must be paid immediately to avoid any penalties.
If we do not receive payment by 11 June, we will have no choice but to refer this matter to the counsel for appropriate legal action. If, however, making the payments is proving to be a problem, please contact us and I am sure we can make alternative arrangements.
