The largest airline in Europe, Frankfurt-based Lufthansa (LH) flies non-stop to about 215 destinations. This includes 18 points within Germany, as well as 78 countries within Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, the Middle East, North America, the Caribbean and South America. The airline's aircraft have a variety of one-cabin and four-cabin configurations that can include First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy Class and Economy Class. A member of the Star Alliance, Lufthansa also has codeshare agreements with five other airlines. Additionally, Lufthansa has a number of subsidiaries, including Austrian Airlines, Swiss International Air Lines, Air Dolomiti, Lufthansa CityLine and Germanwings. Lufthansa have to be the worst. Lost my bags in both directions . Contact non existent. Landed 11May bag promised that day or next still waiting on the 14th. No contact no info . Can't complain as they don't do complaints. Keep trying to speak to someone but given phone numbers that don't work or ignored Really has to be the worst airline ever DONT USE . Have never experienced such appealing service never again.…

My parents always traveled with Lufthansa, and I think they will choose other company next time. For the third time in the row they luggage was lost and they had to wait for 3 days until they found it. It's not a lot, but somebody who is 75 years old and on blood pressure medications it makes a difference. Meds need to be taken every day not wait for 3 days and nobody takes a supply of meds in the cabin. Once they finally got their bags they were raid and searched through! WHAT DOES LUFTHANSA THINK THAT 75 YEARS OLD PEOPLE CARRY IN THEIR BAGS FOR THEM TO BE RAID AND SERACHED THROUGH 3X IN A ROW ???…

Our flight LJU-FRA was one hour late, so we missed our connection to IAD, as well as all of our appointments on the next day. FRA is a huge and busy airport, so 2-hr connection time was unreasonable. Lufthansa rebooked us on United on the next day (and paid for hotel and dinner). To add insult to injury they failed to register the rebooking in their computers. When we checked in the next day, it took at least 30 min to find our booking, then the long lines for check-in, passport control and security checks, and a long run to gate Z22 made us almost miss the new flight as well. We were the last to board! I always thought Lufthansa was a well run airline, but in the future, we will avoid it, as well as FRA airport. We always seem to be long-distance runners at FRA.…
