Why won’t my phone stay on the charger?
Magnetic lock issues are often caused by incompatible phone models or nonmagnetic cases.

Please check:

●Your phone is either iPhone 13 or 12 series

●
Your case is either an official MagSafe or  ESR HaloLock case
Why does my charger heat up during charging?
Overheating is often caused by thick cases or high ambient temperature.

Please avoid:

●
Cases thicker than 5 mm
●
Excessively hot environments
●
Placing the charger in an enclosed environment

If you’re having issues with heat:

●
Take off your phone case, unplug the charger and let it cool down
●
Reduce the number of apps and video games open on the phone
●
When the charger has cooled down, plug it back in and resume charging
Why is my phone not charging/charging slowly?
Unstable/slow charging is often caused by using the wrong cable and adapter.

Please check:

●
You are using the included USB-C to USB-C fast charging cable
●
Your power adapter outputs at least 18W (not included). If you don’t have a compatible power adapter, we recommend this one  20W mini PD Charging Set
●
Your magnetic case is less than 5 mm thick, and there are no metal attachments or credit cards between the case and your phone
●
Reducing the number of apps open will also improve charging speed

Below are some additional charging information for your reference:

●
No wireless charger will be as fast as a traditional wired charger
●
Apple currently only lets third-party wireless chargers charge at 7.5W, which means all wireless chargers from any brand besides Apple are limited to 7.5 W
●
Optimized Battery Charging is on by default for iPhones with iOS 13 or later. When this feature is enabled, your iPhone will charge slower after 80%. For more details, please check:  https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210512

While this kickstand can still be super handy as a stand when not plugged in, it can only charge your phone when it is plugged in to a compatible power source
