Hi,

For a special birthday celebration I am trying to select an intimate high-end sushi-only restaurant for the 2 of us, while we are in Kyoto. I am really looking for something "authentic" and not located in a hotel.

I had narrowed down my choices between:

- sushi Matsumoto

- sushi Tadayasu

- sushi Matsudaya

Matsumoto is the only one that still has it Michelin star. But, restaurant quality and reviews can change over the years.

Hope I can get some guidance on which one to pick for the July 2024 dinner.
