My sister and I flew from the west coast to visit our 85 year old father. After starting at 6am our flight was canceled 10 min before a 9pm connecting flight in Detroit. Our 4th stop. It was a very long day with 3 hrs sleep, no change of clothes or shower before catching a 6:30am flight the next morning to Corning, NY. The hotel bent the rules, didn't charge for the night we missed and allowed us to check in early the day we arrived. We were able to get a couple more hours sleep, take a shower and spend the afternoon and evening with family. They instantly changed what started out as a long and stressful trip into a very relaxing and memorable one. This is a very nice hotel, well maintained with modern amenities in a great location. Oh, they have a full on breakfast each morning. If you're planning on visiting Corning, NY this is the hotel you need to stay at. Thank you Staybridge Suites!!

We stayed one night in the Staybridge Suites Corning. We were in room 151.
The room was a handicap room, with a queen bed, 2 TVs, A/C, full kitchen (except an oven), a sleep sofa, desk and chair, clock, 2 stools, and an iron and ironing board.
The bathroom had a shower only, being a handicap room.
Be sure and turn on the ice maker in the fridge when you arrive, as there is no ice machine at the hotel. (You have to ask the front desk for ice).
Because of Covid-19, there is no breakfast served. But they do give you a breakfast menu sheet (to be left at the front desk), where you check what you want, and the time you will pick it up in the morning.
Masks must be worn while checking in, and while walking the halls. But you can just leave the keys in the room when you check out.
The hotel is very close to the Corning Museum of Glass.
We would stay there again.

Our 2 bed suite was very comfortable and roomy enough for me, my wife, our adult daughter and her to labs. He came down to deer hunt, so while we were hunting my wife was able to prepare us dinner in the small kitchen area. Most of the supply you need were there and in the dishwasher freshly cleaned. They gave us a 1st floor room close to the backside entrance for the dogs which worked very well.

This hotel is in a good location, close to everything. I interacted with a couple of staff members and they were extremely friendly and nice.
We had a 1 bedroom suite. The room was comfortable, but a little on the small side for 4 adults. It was only for 1 night, so we managed. If there were only 2 adults and a child (or 2), it would be perfect.
The bathroom is quite small. I like that the shower/toilet is separate from the sink, but there is not too much space to maneuver in there.
The one thing I would definitely change is the lighting over the bathroom sink. I am not sure what kind of light that was, but it was not bright enough to be able to see properly while getting ready for the day. It was almost as if I were in a nightclub bathroom with shadows on my face as I was looking in the mirror. Also, please add a soap dish at the bathroom sink. Something so cheap adds a lot.
I would definitely recommend this place.

This is a very nice hotel top to bottom. The suite was spacious and had EVERYTHING we need, including a full kitchen. I have never stayed in a hotel that offered so much, and they paid attention to details. During our family's NY trip we stayed in 6 hotels, and this was only the second hotel that gave us full (4) sets of towels without us asking. Our only regret was that the kids didn't get to enjoy the pool and hot tub because they closed early. If we visit Corning again we will be back!

I stayed here on a recent road trip in order to visit the Corning Glass Museum and surrounding area.
On the plus side: location. This hotel is within walking distance of the museum and also a short walk to various restaurants in Corning. Also, the desk staff was efficient. Our room was somewhat clean and a nice size. The lobby was nicely decorated for fall and offered a warm atmosphere.
On the minus side: This hotel needs a refurbishment. Its brown decor in the room was depressing and dated. The fixtures are beat up, the walls are super thin - I could hear the neighboring room guests easily. There are food smells in the hallways (this seems to be an extended stay hotel for some people). The tiny, slow elevators are a long way from the lobby - it's a stupidly long walk.
Breakfast was a disappointment. There aren't enough tables; the self-service layout is crowded and traffic flow wasn't well thought out; the food offerings were slim (no whole grain breads or cereals; no oatmeal except in packets; no hot water as the staff didn't know how to refill it); no TV.

I don't think I've written a review recommending this is the only place to stay, but I am now. This hotel is perfect for a visiting in Corning. It is within walking distance of the Corning Welcome Center, where you can take a shuttle to the Corning Glass Museum, the Rockwell Museum and the downtown area. If you want a stay that doesn't involve driving, this is it. The hotel has two bedroom suites, which really helped us out keeping our family together. They inspect the rooms after room service has been done! Well laid out and comfortable. Breakfast area is good. Staff was very friendly, saying hi every time we saw them in the halls. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Restaurants can be easily accessed by taking the Corning shuttle, or a short drive. We chose to pick up food from the nearby Wegman's and eat in our suite. The courtyard had a lovely fire pit and lots of seating. Did I mention the craft brewery next door? You couldn't get closer - a lovely green area separates the two so you can sit outside and enjoy your beer. Our trip was off to a wonderful start - and it all started here. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else if visiting the area again.

We visit the Corning Glass Museum regularly and have stayed at this property twice before with good experiences. This time, however, was deeply disappointing. During this pandemic, when cleanliness must be the highest priority, our suites were dirty and housekeeping seemed unable to clean them. When we checked in, it looked as if the rooms had not been dusted in weeks and there were sunflower seed husks on one of the beds. After a couple of days, we asked for the rooms to be cleaned. "Cleaning" consisted of making only one of two beds, replacing towels but not cleaning the toilets or sinks, not vacuuming the floors, and not taking out the garbage. We will not be returning.

We wanted to visit the Corning Museum of Glass and chose this hotel. All I can say is WOW! The front desk people were very professional and nice, the room was great! You could walk to the CMOG if you wanted to. The only disappointment was the pool wasn't open because of COVID but that was fine. It's location is also great since it's right off the internet. They even have movies to borrow (free) in the lobby. We were in Room 121 and the room was spotless and we really enjoyed having the separate bedroom.

Amazing hotel, we had great experience of staying there. It is family oriented hotel that will satisfy everyone's need. Everything was beyond our expectations. We enjoyed very comfortable and tidy 2 bedroom suit, the clear and clean pool, warm hot tub, and had a delicious breakfast with a great variety of meals, and fresh coffee. The staff is very friendly, professional and kind. Best ever hotel based on our rich experience of travelling. Will definitely come back here.

Yes, the are indoors. They are in a separate building in our courtyard that is attached via a hallway at one of our elevators.
