It is just okay, so it is not popular and not crowded. Some homeless people are noticed there. Watching squirrels were the most interesting thing in the park.

Tried to take our 3 year old and 19 months old to the park. It is absolutely beautiful and has some really nice equipment for kids how there were many homeless and individuals under the influence all around. We were also told by one of the attendants that they regularly look for and discard used needles. Yeah, no thank you. We just took our kids out immediately.

Right across from Santa Monica Pier this park has some great features. Multi-level, lots of fun features, great landscaping. The number of homeless was at least 20+ on the park benches, especially along the center areas.

Has a great place for kids. Nice area to walk, park benches, it was nice to just sit for a few and let the kids work off some energy.

I don't know if it's worth coming from out of town expressly to visit, but it's a very pretty little park, worth a visit after the beach or shopping.

Great park amidst busy Santa Monica Pier area. It’s literally across the street from the pier. I have been to the Santa Monica Pier many times but had never noticed this place.
Things are well maintained here with no trash on the ground. The flowers are blossom right now. I have taken so many flower pictures since they were so pretty.
The highlight of the park is the view to the ocean and the pier. During sunset, you can view the spectacular sunset from two platforms. The two dome like structure perch over the park into Ocean Blvd which gives a perfect view of the sunset over the pacific over with the pier as the foreground.
Parking is easy for the park as there is a big parking structure on Colorado Blvd across from the pier. 3 hour max for parking but the cost is very cheap, I only paid $2 for 2 hours.

Этот парк находится чуть выше пирса. Здесь можно отдохнуть от моря и пляжа в тени южной растительности. Старинные пушки украшают парк и привлекают туристов для фотографирования.

Small park well laid out with interesting walk, water features, restrooms and children's play area with slides and climbing frames but no swings. It would help if the plants could have been named in the park, whilst there was a lot of grass overgowing the beds. There were staff working on the grass, there was also a lot of homeless people in the park which I think would be quite scary at night.
