I agree with much that has already been said here. It’s more of a covered roof terrace than a garden. First impression was very good. As you come out of the lift it feels like you are in a sky high airport lounge with fab views of London. Luckily the weather was fine for our visit so we were able to go outside on the terrace. which added to the experience. After a good look around at this lower level, we wandered up the stairs expecting to see more garden but it turned out that we’d seen most of the greenery already. Most of the plants and trees are alongside both staircases. There were views to the North on this upper level. I’m not complaining as it was all a very pleasant outing and the lower level is a nice place to relax with a drink. We had no trouble finding a seat. Drinks are not cheap but as it’s free to enter, I think that’s fair enough. I was left afterwards with a feel good factor, but not for having spent time in a lovely garden which I expected, but more for the stunning views of The Thames. The whole experienced was enhanced by a lack of crowds. Plenty of people there enjoying themselves but we weren’t tripping over them.

After a great lunch at Larch we had easy access up to the Sky Garden. Whilst busy, it was still very pleasant to walk around, take in the views and have a drink. We got to see London on a relatively clear day. As part of a day out, it was worth the visit.

This was my second time at Sky Garden (and at the Darwin Brasserie). We love the magnificent view from our table, but also from our walk through the lower floor. Do book early and try to time your visit (or dinner) to see the sunset.

The sky garden itself was excellent, but the brasserie meal was underwhelming. You were clearly paying for the venue and not the meal. The service was good, but the food was cold and the panacotta had lumps in it which was unpleasant. Not worth the money nor the 13.5% service charge added to the bill.

It was a fabulous sunny May Day and ideal to view the City. So yes the view is well worth it……. The coffee on the other hand was underwhelming in the extreme and considering the price, it shouldn’t be too hard to lift their game!

We visited the sky garden on a Tuesday and our tickets were for 2:00 PM. There was a long queue, but it moved fairly quickly. Then there is security. And then a 35 floor elevator ride. The longest queue was the queue to come back down. We didn’t have drinks or snacks. We were just there for the view and it was amazing. I’m sure on a sunny day. It could get quite warm in there. It was only about 65 degrees F when we were there. What I really liked was that there were different little seating areas that were private, but anyone could use them. On the different levels there were platforms where you could sit and gaze. On the top floor, there is a long windowsill/bench that you can sit on. It’s worth the trip.

Our second visit and you just can’t fail to be amazed by the views… stunning!! Had a 3:30pm ticket, but as there was no queue we went straight through at 3pm. All staff I came across were friendly & helpful. Plenty of seating & reasonably priced drinks. Fantastic experience and don’t see how you can grumble at all when it’s free to get in!!

A spectacular 360 degrees view of London awaits, for the cost of $0! Just make a reservation in advance, and get your free ticket (or have lunch or dinner one of the restaurants - reservation more easily available. The view is amazing, especially the Shard and Tower Bridge. Take your time and go aournd all the parts, take in the amazing views all around you. It can be a bit crowded, but not too much as the tickets are limited.

Although not the best of days weather-wise, the 360 degree view was amazing. We got free tickets online, which are issued on a Monday for a whole week, 3 weeks in advance. The queue was small when we got to the Walkie Talkie building. We went through security and then was whisked in the high-speed elevator to the 35th floor. We found that the viewing floor was not at all crowded and easy to walk around. Highly recommend going.

Fantastic views across London. Make sure to grab a reservation before you go though. The day I went I arrived at ten in the morning and by noon it was a full capacity with only the waitlist available. Well worth the experience just for the views alone.
