Tiffany Haddish was arrested early Friday.
The Beverly Hills Police Department responded to a call for a welfare check on someone whose car was parked in the middle of a few lanes of traffic, a representative told The Hollywood Reporter.
When officers arrived at the scene, the actress was asleep at the wheel of her car and then arrested under the suspicion of driving under the influence. She was expected to be released later Friday.
The comedian was performing at the Laugh Factory in West Hollywood for the comedy club’s annual Thanksgiving Feast and Show prior to being arrested at 5:45 a.m. PT.

THR reached out to representatives for Haddish.
Haddish was previously arrested for DUI in Peachtree City, Georgia, in January 2022. At the time, police got a call at about 2:30 a.m. local time about a driver asleep at the wheel on a highway. She later posted bond and was released from jail.
She joked about the arrest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon a few weeks later, saying, “I’ve been praying to God to send me a new man. A good man. And God went ahead and sent me four — in uniform.”
She told the host she “was not expecting that at all,” before she acknowledged that she had gotten legal representation. “Now I got a really great lawyer, and we’re going to work it out,” Haddish continued. “I’ve got to get my asking of things to God a little better!”
