He was very professional, getting in touch with me right away and being willing to meet us a bit earlier so we can get back in time for our flight. It was pouring rain the morning of our tour but Alfred still was able to show us a lot by navigating the Ding Ding and metro system. We had 4 stops all across Hong Kong in 4 hours, which I thought was very impressive when you take into account travel. He was also very flexible, changing the itinerary to skip sights we have already seen and taking us to a delicious bakery for pineapple buns when the rain got too much for us. The front seats are better as it gives you clear views and direct winds. It was a little different than I expected as Hong Kong does not do street food as we had experienced in other cities like Bangkok or Singapore. Instead, Cosmo took us to several local restaurants where we experienced food as the locals would eat. Don't let his initial quiet demeanour fool you, he is a very interesting and talented guy who has adventurously travelled the world solo. It was interesting to learn about his family and see some of his art work. He also told us about the history of the Hong Kong as we travelled around (and took the tram) and it was great to have him talk about the street art as well. Qudos also to the charming lady who initially met us at the Ferry Terminal and personally assisted us to find immigration and the right Ferry to Macau.
The tour covers everything they advertise, and the buffet lunch was above expectations (and also catered adequately for this vegetarian and my vegan friend).
Coach driver drove us and then collected us from the various points of interest.
I particularly liked going up the Macao Tower and looking over into China proper and the trip into the Casino was eye-opening. Enjoyed the whole day and the trip back over the awe-inspiring sea Bridge to Hong Kong exceptional !
Eddie was an amusing and informative host full of many humorous anecdotes that kept us laughing. The small number of passengers meant nobody in front to spoil the view. The free drink was a can of cold beer and being a warm evening was good. It was lovely to see the Hong Kong skyline both towards the Island and Kowloon but not many skyscrapers or commercial properties providing light shows. We walked thru an active temple, rode the subway to a beautiful garden and visited an elaborate buddhist nunnery. We had time for a thouroughly Hong Kong lunch with many delicious dishes. Nik was fun to be with and spoke excellent english. She made our day in Kowloon meaningful and a true local experience. The company was quick to respond, organized a custom tour fro us with no complications or difficulties.
