We just came for the 🦀 and the meal was delicious. We didn’t do a tour just booked the “all you can eat” dinner. The drive to the restaurant was beautiful and our driver was super sweet- he was nice and let us take a...few quick pics as we travelled. The only thing I would say is that I wish they would’ve told us that it really wasn’t all you could eat. We ploughed through about 1 1/2 crabs each and we had time and the appetite for a little more but when we asked they said that was it. I was slightly disappointed as I would’ve had more crab and skipped the cheesecake even though it was very delicious!! Other then that it was very good and I would do it again as it was completely worth the $. Thx again.More

Our cruise ship arrived in Juneau quite early and we anxiously waited for this restaurant to open. We were not disappointed. Our server, Brantlee,, was very friendly and efficient. Crab legs are the only seafood my wife eats so she certainly enjoyed her meal. I...opted for variety with the Captain's Plate.More

garysl4713YF, Thank you so much for waiting for the restaurant to open and for our 4-star review. We are glad to see that you enjoyed the crab legs, seafood options, and friendly service! We hope to see you again if you ever return to Ketchikan.

This place is right across the street from the cruise ship dock we had lunch here while we were in town. We got the big sampler platter with two pieces of fish for crab wontons to crabcakes and rice and a side of fries. I’m...sorry to say the french fries were the High Point. The fish was really good. The crabcakes were mostly breading and the crab wontons were OK but nothing to write home about the service was great. It was very quick everything was served hot. It just wasn’t Great.More

The manager said that 3 people could eat 1 lb of Assorted King Crab for $85, so a group of 20 of us ordered 7 lb, but it was disappointing because the amount was absurdly small. It was enough to feed 7 people only. Few...pieces of skinny legs and meat were in the 1 lb pot.Furthermore, Hidden Charge (Kitchen Tip) and Service Charge have already been charged on the bill, but they marked the Tip % amount so that we can tip twice. Be careful when you pay the bill.More

I had visited this place with my friends last May,2023. We were searching for restaurants where we can try that famous Alaska king crabs. Since Alaska is well known for the live King Crab place, we just want to have a taste of what really...Alaska King Crab is. This restaurant is located just across the cruise ship port with huge symbol of King Crab outside widows. It caught my eye and decided to give it a try with high expectation. Of course we ordered King Crabs. The King crabs we're served were so small & skinny , they didn't look like King at all. And there were not much crab meat either. It looks like hollow pipe. You don't want to know how much I paid for they called KING CRAB!! Maybe future King !! Who knows.Long story short, if you are looking for real quality Alaska King Crab restaurant, go somewhere else. I found mine at Juneau. You can find that world famous King Crab restaurant there. It's located right at the cruise ship port but you have to expect long line ( name starts with letter T). It's a little pricey but they won't disappoint you. I don't need to mention about their King crab quality. Rumor is the biggest King crabs are exclusively delivered to that restaurant right straight from the sea. You know what that means. YOU DA KING !! Good luck !!More

Was expecting to have really good, fresh seafood but the food was just bad all around. Family and I ordered chowder, pub halibut, burger, and salmon tacos. All of the fish was super overcooked, making it taste like canned fish rather than fresh. Waitress said...they cooked all fish well done. The beer was good and so was the turtle cheesecake. The staff was generally unfriendly, and the place was not very busy.More

This place was recommended by the locals that we talked to during the day. The service was just ok and they weren't that busy. We had the king crab because everybody raves about it. I wasn't impressed with the crab taste or the place. I...liked the tanner crab on Kodiak Island better. The tanner crab was much sweeter and had better taste. We wouldn't go back.More

Whenever we cruise to Alaska and stop in Ketchikan, this is the place we stop at for food and drink. We like to park ourselves at the bar, order many beers and some appetizers and simply chat and watch the world go by. It's so...relaxing. The food has always been good. This time around we had coconut shrimp, fries and chicken wings. Very tasty. Great selection of Alaskan beers on tap as well. Service was wonderful as per usual. Friendly, attentive and never pushy or seeking to up-sell. Thank you, Jamie. Stopping in here is one of the highlights of our cruises and something we always look forward to. Next time we're in town, save our place at the bar. We'll be there!More

The place was half full and we were a table of 6. We told her that we could sit wherever and we didnt need to all be beside each other as we were 2 separate families. The hostess told us that they could not split...us up?.? I told her it would be 2 separate checks, still told we couldnt do that... So we had to wait for 1 of the 2 tables that were able to seat the 6 of us. This restaurant was on the 3rd floor of a metal building and it was HOT.. No place for us to sit and wait for our table so we had to stand by the entrance. Once we were seated, we were put in a corner with a broken table. We told the waitress about it and she just laughed a walked away. We almost spilled our food multiple times because the table top with loose. We even tried to tighten the bolts but they were stripped. Food was ok but the restaurant was hot and our service wasnt they best so we just ate quick and left.More

We apologize that the service did not meet your expectations. There's not much need for air conditioning in Alaska as we don't have much hot weather. Nonetheless, it is unfortunate that your experience was less than stellar.

Very disappointed. I had looked forward to this place, but no one would wait on us. We sat and sat and sat at our table, but a server never came. The hostess saw that we hadn’t been waited on, but she looked back at her...phone and did nothing to help. We decided to leave since we only had a limited amount of time. Ended up going to The Alaska Fish House, and it was great. Skip this place and go elsewhere.More

srmt2010, We apologize that you had to wait so long. We are dealing with labor shortages and are doing the best we can. Nonetheless, we are disappointed that you weren't able to have any of our delicious food.

If you want the biggest crab legs in Alaska then head to Tracy's King Crab shack in Juneau for a fair price on King Crab. We paid $31.99 for one tiny little leg that was maybe 10 ounces in weight. Taste was fine but portion...was a rip off. We substituted fries for rice. Back when this place was called Steamers in was great. Now just a typical Ketchikan tourist trap restaurant. We really need someone to come in and step up the food scene here. Money better spent at the Asylum for $3.50 draft beers and Burger Queen burgers!More

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! Luckily they’re getting 1 star because if i could, I’d put nothing. We overlooked so many other great places in Ketchikan to go to this dump. When y party of 3 arrived, we waited at the counter to be seated. There was...a young female employee who kept looking over at the door where more and more people kept coming in and we’re waiting. ZERO acknowledgment. I understand where the restaurant can be busy but at least acknowledge the fact you have customers waiting for 20 minutes now just looking around. How bad can it be to say “we’ll be right with you”?! Don’t ignore the fact that I’m standing there. I truly wanted to see how long we were going to stand there.. a total of 30 minutes had passed. I ended up going to the bar and just observed all 20 people standing at the door waiting for a table. We didn’t order food because we had no clue how long it would take and besides, we needed to give ourselves time to head back to the ship. We were at the bar maybe 15 minutes. Drank one beer and paid the bill immediately. It wasn’t until we started to get our things and leave that another employee finally went to get menus and start seating people. So now, and entire 45 minutes with ZERO acknowledgment of customers. Unacceptable and terrible service. And I’m glad we didn’t eat there because the reviews I’ve read are terrible. If you want to have crab legs definitely eat at Juneau or Skagway.More
