Eretto per il vertice sull'immigrazione tenutesi a Malta nel Novembre 2015,dove i leader Europei e Africani hanno discusso della crisi dei migranti Europei.La Piazza è gigantesca e questa statua per me è un pugno in un occhio,visto il contesto dove si trova.

Este particular monumento se inauguró en el año 2017 cuando se realizó una reunión cumbre para tratar el tema de las inmigraciones ilegales. Es un nudo que simboliza la unión de dos continentes: el europeo y el africano. Se encuentra ubicado frente al edificio donde funcionan las oficinas del primer ministro de Malta.

W stolicy Malty Valletcie w listopadzie 2015 roku odbył się międzynarodowy szczyt, na którym przywódcy europejscy i afrykańscy dyskutowali na temat europejskiego kryzysu migracyjnego. Szczyt rozpoczął się w Auberge de Castille a główna konferencja odbyła się w Śródziemnomorskim Centrum Konferencyjnym. Był to największy szczyt jaki kiedykolwiek zorganizowano na Malcie. Aby upamiętnić ów szczyt, w centrum Placu Kastylijskiego postawiono pomnik The Knot Monument. Ma on postać węzła wyrzeźbionego w białym marmurze kararyjskim symbolizującego jedność Europy i Afryki, stojącego na wielościennym postumencie. U stóp postumentu znajduje się tablica z napisem i świetlną mapą Afryki i Europy.

In 11-12 of november Malta was host from the largest summit in their history. Leaders from Africa and Europe Meeting for discussing for what do to with the big migration crisis. A trust fund come out of this to promote Development in Africa and then for Return for Africa's countries. Now I see my english is not good enough when it comes to cases With many difficult words I dont want to google to find. Anyway this monument/statue is located as many else on Castille Square.

The Migration Summit Monument has been erected on Castille Square to commemorate the Malta Summit on migration issue in 2015. Would not miss this monument as it is different from the neighboring ones.

This contemporary monument stands in front of the Auberge de Castile. It commemorates the meeting of European and African leaders in 2015 to discuss migration. Geographically Malta is in a strategic position.

В ноябре 2015-го года в Валетте прошел саммит ЕС-Африка, посвященный миграционному кризису в Европе. Два дня заседали, приняли решение. Кризис, спустя четыре года продолжается. Надо ли по этому поводу ставить памятник на одной из главных площадей города? Не знаю! Мальтийцы поставили памятник весьма спорного вида, напоминающий фигу, по весьма спорному поводу…
