Long time no visit Taste in the Olympian City la, there are a lot of new changes. The most interesting one is the new part of Taste which is a tiny corner in the bakery part that sells hk style waffle, eggette and octopus ball. As it smells quite nice and freshly made after each order, i decided to purchase a waffle and eggette from it as the price for two is only $22 in total.I waited for around 5-10mins for the freshly made one. While I was waiting, I really appreciated the service that the nice and friendly sales gave as she kindly chat with me about the special techniques of making the eggette!! When I tasted the eggette, it was not that crispy as the time taken for it to cool down was not enough, but i really love the fact that the eggette had the taste of egg and not having too strong flour taste, which is definitely a good feature.For the waffle, the sales was really generous that she gave me a lot of peanut butter and condense milk. I love the combination of butter, peanut butter and condense milk, they were the best match and the key feature of a hk style waffle!!
