I think they've already changed hotel's name to Hotel Resol Asahikawa.
This hotel is about 3 minutes walk from Asahikawa JR station.
Hotel staff are polite and helpful. Some of them can speak English well.
Twin room is clean and comfortable.
There are some department store around the hotel, one of them just across the street.
In those dept. are lots of food court and restaurant, but after 8 p.m. they are all close.
Don't forget that Asahikawa is not a big city. A bit difficult to find something to eat at night. Convenient store is a bit far.

We stayed here for the 2nd leg of our Hokkaido trip. Court Hotel was just two blocks (5-7-minute walk) away from the Chuo Bus Station and about a block away from JR Station, Aeon Mall, Shopping Street, and the terminal for buses going to Asahiyama Zoo and Moonlight Ladies Dogsledding (in Takasu). Our stay was pleasant enough, but our triple room did not have any view. The buffet breakfast was a simple spread and it was filling for the price. People at the front desk were very helpful and accommodated our request for additional pillows plus a spoon. I'm a smoker but they didn't have a smoking room so I was directed to the parking garage.

We stayed in this hotel as our base to visit Furano and Biei. Hotels in Furano are expensive and many are not within walking distance to train station - we didn't rent a car. It was a good decision. It was easy to access Furano and Biei from Asahikawa.

We stayed at Court Hotel for three nights - non-smoking double room. It was the cheapest hotel in our Hokkaido trip. It was full on our forth night in Asahikawa. So, we had to move to another hotel, at higher price tag, by the forth night.

Location:

Court hotel is about 5mins walk from the JR Asahikawa station. The bus stop across the road, in front of the hotel, is the bus stop to the Asahikawa zoo. It is about 5-10 mins (depending on which street) easy walk to the streets with all the shops and ramen restaurants.

Service:

We arrived the hotel before check-in time. We were greeted by the coldest hotel staff in this trip. Well, just cold attitude - nothing worse. For this interaction, we only left our bags. When checked in after we return from the zoo, and this time the lady at front desk was friendly. We were able to find out recommended ramen restaurants (and they are good) from them; they have a photocopied map of restaurants around them.

Hotel:

Given its price, I found the hotel room reasonably good. There were stain marks on the wall paper and cracks on the wash basin (and a hair on it when we first got in the room) - apart from these, I would call the room clean. Room size is small, but that’s norm in Japan. The room is comfortable and has everything we need to stay in.

Internet:

Free wired internet access in the room; and I could use my wireless router. Free wireless in the lobby.

Overall:

A good stay - a good place to stay (given the price lower than others) if you will not be spending most of the time in the room. I just can't give it a 5 star, or it will be deceiving to imply it's "5 star" - quality is not 5 star.

We arrived in rainy day and looking for parking, the parking at the hotel point us to cheaper parking lot but further away. Also there is no loading place to off load the luggage. And when we leave, we try to load luggage as soon as possible and staff came to tell us that is bus stop but there is no direction where to load and unload and staff didn't offer any help but just staring. Except good location, can't think of any reason to stay again. Hope they improve the arrangement.

Standard Japanese-sized room. Slightly dated. Hotel parking could only accommodate sedan cars i.e. height restriction. Public parking is available next to hotel parking entrance. Great ramen right opposite the hotel, long line during peak hour. A few steps from the JR Station. Alright for a short stay. Nothing to brag about.

I have booked this hotel after reading the various review through Tripadvisor. Also, it was one of the cheapest hotel that i could find with a good location.
Before arriving, i was mentally prepared to be greeted by a motel standard hotel and room. Upon arrival, when we tried to park our car in the hotel premises, was told that we can't as our car height exceeds 1.5m. So, we parked our car at the public carpark behind the hotel. It was just a min walk to the hotel and parking fees is 1,200yen/24hrs.
Check-in was smooth as the staff could speak a little English. I have booked a suite room with tatami area for my family of four. In view of the price, i was not expecting much. However, upon entering the room, i was pleasantly surprise with the size of the room. There was 2 rooms, 1 western style room with 1 double bed, sitting area and a little kitchenette area and the other room comes with 2 tatami bed and a table. There's 1 shared toilet and bath room for our room. The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable.
The hotel is located within close proximity to the AEON Mall and other eateries. This is the best value for money hotel that i have throughout my stay in Hokkaido.

We read some negative reviews before and went with an open mind, a bit skeptical tho.

To our surprise, such a beautiful hotel..very spacious, well equipped, near to mall and eateries.

Its a steal for such a cheap room rate with 2 queen beds upstairs and 2 twins downstsirs for the duplex apartment. It has a very big dressing area with big toilet too.

Centrally located, just a short walk from JR station and Aeon Mall. Double rooms are small but twin rooms are more spacious and comfortable. A little dated but well maintained and clean. All rooms are now non-smoking which was nice. No cigarette smell. Breakfast was mostly Japanese. Would stay here again in the future.
