    Opinion on raising Chemistry

Has anyone raised Chemistry high enough to process the 300 ql alien mutated biomaterial? Trying to decide whether to give it a try. So far I've just been processing the pristine as the requirements are a lot lower (4x vs 7x). But curious to know what others are doing.

I have enough Chemistry to get the skill as high as 2100. This was done by having the Alchemist line maxed and adding IP as necessary to fill the requirements.

The Pristine biomaterial is using ALOT LESS skills than the mutated. I have processed a QL265 armor part with 1600ish skills since 6xQL in skills is the highest u need then...

don't use mutated if you want to make armor with low skills

EDIT: Well, I read over the posts too fast I see But the pristine should drop as QL300 as well, but you will probably have an easier time to make the armor in right QL if you can process the mutated as well...

Being able to do ql300 mutated is cool, but I'm personally only raising chem to be able to do ql300 Pristine.

With all stuff and machine buff in HQ, 1400 in Chim is enough to do QL300 with bio material.

Well, with the crap droprate on biomaterial above ql 295 (WTF is up with all the viral serum?!?), you'll need all the material you can get your hands on.

So if you want to do ql 295+ armors as much as you can, you will need 2100 chem. I've raised skills and aquired tradeskill stuff so that Im able to make the whole piece at ql300. Including the pharma and psycho part. And the time I save by not having to hunt down a doc and a crat is worth ten times the IP investment.

Well it helps to have a near full set of ql295+ combined scout armor (except gloves since beast gloves gives equal amount) to buff all the tradeskills with. And then I have all sorts of things that gives something, including any abilities-buffing items for the dribbledowns.

Thanks for the advice. You convinced me so I spent the last of my IP and raised chemistry. Just got the chosen gloves so that helped some and was able to get 2097. Pretty sure I can get 3 more if I need it with anythings or NT Intell buff.
