We would like to see wisteria at Tenjinyama Park on either 19th or 20th May. Can you recommend where to park our car, how much and how do we pay for parking?
Is there any wisteria illumination at night at Tenjinyama?

Tenjinyama Park has a free municipal parking lot (25 spaces). However, it gets crowded during the wisteria season, so you will have to use a nearby private parking lot. If you search online, you will find that it is a flat rate system and costs about 700-800 yen.
In my experience, most parking lots in Sapporo accept credit cards and electronic money, so you can rest assured.
There are many parking lots around Tenjinyama in the Sumikawa area to the south, as well as those attached to the park itself. If you search for the keyword "sapporo tenjinyama parking" on Google Maps, you will see a "P" sign indicating a parking lot.

57 helpful votes Actually you get different results searching on google maps for "Parking" and "パーキング ". Should do both for closest parking.
But with in-car Japanese GPS, it would show all.
