Spectacular oceanfront treehouse B&B, where zen meets west coast. This newly built cabin in the trees is the ultimate in glamping - the perfect opportunity to retreat into nature. The private deck and king day bed allow for a cozy stay to watch eagles perch on nearby arbutus trees or seals bob their heads as they pass by. Relax on the secluded beach, scoop up some oysters for a snack or enjoy happy hour in the setting sun.

The space
Summer time offers warmth and long nights, beach and water activities. Rinse off at the beach shower in the summer. Winter time is cozy and offers a time of hibernation to read, paint, relax. When the daybed is extended to the king bed, it pretty much takes up most of the square footage in the treehouse. The bed will be be extended when you arrive. The bathroom is separate from the Treehouse.

The cozy space consists of a bay window to sit & relax (although it can sleep one small person as well), a daybed turned king bed, and a small kitchenette. The kitchenette includes a mini fridge, dishes/utensils, cutting board, kettle, French coffee press, teapot, and complimentary tea & coffee. The fridge is stocked with granola, yogurt, cream and almond milk. There is no running water in the treehouse but has a water dispenser, basins and cloths.
This tranquil space is the ultimate retreat from the noise and chaos of the city. Glamping at its finest, you will be immersed in nature with only the essentials. A BBQ is available on the property. Pots, pans, tongs etc. may be requested for use with the BBQ.

Sheets, linens, towels, beach towels are provided.

Guest access
Private beach, 4.3 acres of forest and yard, The beach and yard is shared with owner. The treehouse has plenty of privacy.

Other things to note
The Treehouse is a private little cabin on the 4.3 acres of forest and oceanfront property. There is private access to toilet and sink. Your private retreat at this unique B&B includes Continental breakfast of yogurt, fruit, Barb's Bistro granola, Salt Spring Coffee, selection of teas. A few SSI treats await you upon arrival.

The owner has a large dog and small dog that roam the property who are always up for some love. They are very friendly but if you don't want them visiting you, close the gate to the treehouse boardwalk. As such, no dogs are allowed on the property.

The beach is glorious with smooth stones and tons of oysters. The oysters can be quite gnarly so bring good water shoes, not just flip flops. You will need them to wade into the water before you splash your way into a refreshing swim.
