We always stay here when visiting Kaohsiung because of the location and the breakfast buffet! There's plenty of choices to fit all tastes and restrictions. My only complaint is that there's always a long line for the coffee machine and the temperature of the restaurant...is very cold!More

So bid it is difficult to navigate. I arrived very early on day and some items were not so fresh. Every other day was fine but I went a little later and all was fresher.
Breakfast buffets had a spread of western and traditional Taiwanese food. Place got crowded during holidays. No creamer for coffee though.
The venue is a large area with many tables. The buffet comes with many variety of choices starting with cold plates followed by hot food. My boyfriend & I went for the high tea session with my auntie & grandma. You have to reserve your seats well in advance (I'd advise 1 month before) in order to get seats. Even though we had reservations, we needed to queue to get...in. Price ranges from NT399 to 899 if I'm not mistaken. Never in my life had I imagined a high tea buffet to have such a jaw-dropping variety of food. They serve 5 different sashimi, & many more sushi. All oozing with freshness! :) As I love desserts, I was hopping in excitement when I realised that there was 20+ types of cakes & pastries, with 8 flavors of Haagen-Dazs ice-cream! Heaven~ Service was superb too as the staff cleared our tables with gusto. There was roughly 1 service staff to attend to 15 tables. Not an easy job at all. But they did it, & very well too. Solo traveller visited in early March 2019 for a buffet dinner. Tried to book on line unsuccessful. Contacted the hotel by phone but my Mandarin is not good enough and receptionist seems not very good to speak in English. Lucky when I arrived they able...to find me a table. A lot of seafood and other dishes. Drinks included with beer available, drink until you drop. Happy to come back. Only downside was they asked me to pay half way during my meal. I don't know why but I am not the only customers they asked. I am happy to pay either at entry or after I finished my meal, but not during my meal. Good value paid AUD$42.More
