L.D.K. by Ufufu is a Japanese based cafe that has opened up 5 branches around Hong Kong in recent years, offering Japanese-Western cuisine and casual seated dining. You can also do take-away or delivery through deliveroo if you prefer to have orders sent to your area office, home or hotel. This branch in Sha Tin's New Town Plaza shopping mall is open from 11am to 11pm daily.

I recently ordered their classic Wagyu burger for lunch from L.D.K. My delivery arrived in just 12 minutes and tasted pretty good, much better than your typical burger order from locally run restaurants. The beef patty was grilled nicely and had really nice taste. Tomato and lettuce toppings were fresh enough, bread bun held all together together well. The fries that came with the order were ok.

In the end, this was a better-than-average burger that was worth reordering and made me interested to try other items on the L.D.K.. menu in the future as well.

Just a quick #throwback to the day when I tried out this cafe with my friends.

When the dish was served, I was looking for a knife to slice up the wagyu burger, but it turns out to be extremely soft and juicy since it was made with minced wagyu, so just a fork would do the job.
The wagyu beef burger was pretty thick in size, very soft and tender and with savory juice inside when you cut it open. The beef flavor was very rich and succulent; simply sitting on top of the omurice, waiting for you to consume.
The omurice itself was deliciously cooked! The pearl rice was mixed with Japanese soy sauce, covered with a juicy and creamy omelette; and with the mix of luscious curry sauce, every spoonful of all the ingredients would be heavenly tasty in your mouth.☁️

Other than that, I've added an extra $20 to the dish to make it a full lunch combo, it comes with a bowl of mushroom cream soup, smoked duck breast salad and a glass of iced lemon tea.
Definitely a meal that satisfies your tummy!

Stopped here for breakfast. Food and service were excellent and great value too.They have several choices, we had option 'D' with coffee. The only bad thing about this place is the use of single-use, throwaway paper cups, plates and plastic cutlery which is very sad and irresponsible in this day and age - this is why I can only give a 3 rating instead of 5. Not sure we will visit again until this has changed..

I just had dinner here two night ago & the service & food I experienced was amazing! The staff were constantly making sure everyone was ok, with two staff members always near where I was seated (at the back) & I noticed this family in front of me who had small children & that plastic flatware was provided to them! How considerate! When I finished my water, it was refilled immediately & what surprised me was that there was a piece of charcoal in the water jug to filter the water - I have never seen this as this is not a cheap thing to do! Then when I finished my meal, I was asked not long after if my plates could be taken away, not to rush me out but to give me more room on the table so I could relax after my meal in a clean space! I felt all this & found it all to be extremely considerate! I have already recommended my family to eat here (as they live close by!) such a great experience for a little Aussie who’s come for a visit. Thank you so much! Will definitely be back!
