於2020年四月開播的《The King：永遠的君主》，因是男神李敏鎬退伍後的回歸首作，又搭配曾寫出《太陽的後裔》、《鬼怪》等劇、被封為男神製造機的編劇金恩淑，這樣「男神plus」的組合，成為今年最受期待的韓劇！
