we went to Mui Ne many times before but did not know much about the 300 year story told by this museum. so good set up and good for local culture to be learned here...

Một địa điểm du lịch thật sự thú vị, tôi đã được trải nghiệm không gian làng chài, tìm hiểu lịch sử nước mắm, văn hoá chămpa và có thật nhiều bức ảnh xưa thật độc đáo 😊

Xem hình ảnh và bài viết nhiều rồi. Nhưng phải đi vào thực tế bên trong mới cảm nhận đúng được sự thú vị của nơi này. Nơi người già có thể tìm lại được cảm xúc ngày xưa, tuổi trẻ thì khám phá lịch sử. Thật sự thú vị.

Beautiful fish sauce museum in Mui Ne, no smell at all... The display was interesting so you can take many nice old style photos here while role playing as fishermen or salt makers or fish sauce makers... You can learn how Vietnamese make traditional fish sauce too.

We learned about the history of Vietnamese fish sauce, about Phan Thiet and Mui ne fishing village people 300 years till now. Worth it!! Ticket price is 100,000 VND for about 45 minute tour.

This museum tells everything about Mui Ne 300 year fishing village and Vietnamese fish sauce. Quite nice stop for those loving cultural stuff, and of course, nice pic taking. The tour with guide took us around 30 minutes, including a 3D ocean area.... worth it, at the end of the tour, you can shop a bit in an old style market...

Wasn’t sure what to expect when we arrived. The outside of the building is very modern and it is positioned in a good location. It is a fantastic addition to the area.
We’ve been to Mui Ne many times and this is the first time I’ve been able to learn about the local fishing people and its village. It was interesting to learn about the local fishing people, there livelihood and also about “fish sauce”. There is an art to making real fish sauce, well the traditional way and it certainly has a unique taste. The museum is a really good concept and has been thought out well and a great initiative to teach the locals about their heritage and not lose it. Keep up the good work in educating tourists and also locals.

Many interesting facts about Phan Thiet Mui Ne can be found here. There are guides in English, Vietnamese, Russian and Chinese so anyone can understand the fishing village history here.. There was a 3D oceans for nice pictures taking as well... ticket is 100,000 VND, about 4 USD
