Enjoyed our family time with nature, picnic, swimming, and whole lots of fun! Great views! This place gets packed during summer months. Maximize your visit and be sure to explore the Golden Ears Provincial Park.

Really nice lake, not too crowded.
Water is really clear. Bring a chair as there are mostly stones.
Overall nice lake! Would recommend

Just a reminder to all who camp or boat in the parks. TO PACK OUT YOUR GARBAGE!
These sites advertise the beautiful BC back country but there is not enough education on not leaving a trace. And with social media the world is here visiting and leaving behind their garbage.
At Allouette lake in Golden Ears Park, in the back country camping close to the parking lot. One has to take a boat to get to them. Toilet paper, garbage, cooking stuff and a BUCKET OF POOH IN THE FOREST! Someone decided to shot in the creek next to the camp w/toilet paper! That’s water that gets filtered to drink!!!
Pooh far away from water sources! Please educate yourself if you have no back country experience!
My friends filled two bags in our camp only.
Please please be responsible and leave the back country as you clean as when you arrived.
1) bury your Pooh properly-leave no trace - use a hand held bidet to avoid paper.
2) pack out your garage
3) pack out food! And this includes your used cig butts.
4) if you don’t know what leave no trace means-google it!
5) we also reported a huge camp fire. SERIOUSLY? Now with the ban and the province burning! Argh - be responsible
Keep our backcountry clean!

Great lake with beach and picnic areas for the family to enjoy. Showers and flush toilets for clean up after going into the lake. Signage in place for COVID restrictions & items to follow. Vehicle parking is free, note when you go check if you need a day pass to access the park, which is free and accessed online.

Situated in popular Golden Ears Provincial Park, Alouette Lake has become a favourite destination for a weekend camping trip or just a day trip. Lots of parking. Hiking, swimming, boating and fishing are just some of the things to do there. If you plan to camp you must reserve your site very early in the season. Picnic tables and BBQ pits available. All the feelings of being out in nature just an hour from Vancouver.

We’re looking to rent two canoes 6/29 or 6/30 to paddle out and spend the night at one of the marine backcountry sites but can’t find any info about reservations. I know this is a very busy time of year. Will we be able to drive in and rent boats the same day? We fly into Seattle late on 6/28 so wouldn’t make it until mid-day on 6/29. Thanks!

May I know how much the boat rental is? I'd to rent some kayaks for a day.

Dogs allowed?
1. Pets/domestic animals are not allowed in the picnic areas, beaches, marked off swimming areas or park buildings. Dogs are strictly prohibited at the main Alouette (South Beach) day-use area, which is accessible from parking lot #2, and from Campers Beach, between Gold Creek and Alouette campgrounds.
=================
2. Dogs are permitted (on leash) in only two beach areas: at the North Beach day-use area near the outflow area of Gold Creek into Alouette Lake and at the Alouette (South Beach) day-use area between the boat launch and the canoe rental shop, which is accessible from parking lot #1.
Where can I find the address if I want to use goggle map?

Hi, Alouette Lake is located in Golden Ears Provincial Park next to Maple Ridge, British Columbia. Maple Ridge is part of the greater Vancouver area, anyone in Maple Ridge would be able to tell you how yo get to the lake. Enjoy the beautiful lake if you visit.
I was wondering if there has been a ban on portable propane bbqs? They have banned all kinds at buntzen lake. We were hoping to have a beach BBQ this weekend somewhere.
