Second cruise in our life. Last year we travel on RCL Mariner what was bigger 4k guests vs 3k on Reflection. Boarding - super fast. What was great - we dropped our carry-in bags almost immediately after boarding. Baggage arrived around five. We choose early dining option, as we do not like to have dinner after 7pm. Room and ship overall were clean overall; just pay a bit more attention to dust on baseboards. This time we did not buy drinking package, as non-alcoholic on Mariner was waste of money for us. Main dining was very good as we did not repeat main course ever. Service was reasonably fast.. Buffet. Was just OK. Not sure how was it before Covid. Entertainment. Was good and we tried to visit most evening shows. Itinerary Grand Cayman - Cozumel - Bimini. Llke Grand Cayman, plenty to explore. Cozumel, second visit and it is enough Bimini. Not sure if we will go there again

Best cruise ship ever. Only thing not 5.5 star was the Sushi restaurant, but the good news is we had a $50 onboard credit so it didn't cost a dime. It turned out to be a $42 appetizer. So we went up to the buffet for a real meal. The quality was good but the quantity was lacking. Everything else was great. We've been on a dozen or so cruises on various lines. We're already looking for the next cruise on Celebrity.

Well, I was so glad to get off that ship. If you want to be hustled for tips, this is cruise for you. Herded on off ship like cattle. In Ports just long enough, to be hustled for jewelry. Main restaurant was just average, but staff tried. Last night food was not edible. The Ocean View restaurant was the worst experience, that I have ever had on a cruise. You had all the these stations & people cutting in & out. Absolutely no order to it. You just had to get what you could. Then you had to try & find a table. Worst than high school cafeteria. I didn't buy the drink package, because I can not drink. I would get a hamburger at the Mast Grill & a Coke. The charge was $5.00 for a Coke plus 20% gratuity. The woman handing you your ticket would say " something extra for me'" My partner bought some mixed drinks & 20% gratuity was added. She also bought some jewelry and of course it was way over priced. I had already paid the cabin gratuity, but my attendant expected some cash. My favorite incident was at the Casino. I entered the Black Jack tournament on the last night of the cruise for $35 entrance fee. I won the $300 prize and should have known there was a catch. They didn't pay me in cash. They paid me with faux chips that could only be used at the tables. So you had to keep playing, to win back your $35 cash. They only told you this after you had already paid your entrance fee. It was the last night so I had to play. I ended up winning $70 in real chips. So four hours of playing netted me $35. What a total scam. I must say this was one of the worst vacations, I have ever taken. I had a $660 bill on my credit card & no receipt from Celebrity. I have no idea what they charged me for! Not worth the time or money.

We had a fantastic time! Everything from the minute we boarded the ship to the minute we returned to our departure point in Ft. Lauderdale was amazing! The accommodations, which featured a private balcony, were excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the entertainment, which was top-notch and of Broadway quality. The Elysium production was excellent! A married couple, Broadway veterans, also did two shows, and we enjoyed both immensely. The hypnotist had us all spellbound. I was sorry we missed his magic show; we were just too tired that night. The itinerary was the perfect balance of shipboard sailing and island hopping. Our favorite stop was Tortuga. We signed up for a snorkeling excursion to Norman Island, and the local boat captain, Elvis, was great. Despite some challenging weather conditions, he found the perfect spot for us to see a wide array of colorful fish. The Blu Restaurant was also a great upgrade thanks to our AquaClass status. A highlight for me was taking advantage of the services at the spa and relaxing at The Persian Garden on one of the heated lounges watching the waves, or the sunset, depending on the time of day. I was even able to get a UV gel manicure! My husband usually insists on the buffet breakfast, but thanks to our spacious room and private balcony we had room service breaksfast everyday. I loved all of the pampering and services available. The food and variety of restaurants on board were quite good. My husband especially appreciated that you could find something substantial and tasty to eat at all hours. The staff, including our MC, made us feel most welcome. Our room steward, Marc, was very helpful. The other guests on board were a great mix of friendly people. We enjoyed cocktails on the sunset deck and dancing the night away! The only hiccup was that there were no shuttle buses to the car rental when we got off the boat. There was a long line of us waiting to be picked up at the pier to go to the car rental places. Hopefully, Celebrity will be able to persuade the local taxi and and car rental companies to have transportation on hand at the dreadfully early departure time when we disembark. Over than that we have only good memories. We have already shared our recommendations with friends and I know when the time is right, we will be back on board!

Seeing a lot of negativity on recent Celebrity posts so decided to balance things up a little. To clarify, we are a UK based Independent Travel Agency who love to experience all genres of travel personally, to know what our customers will encounter and will recommend or not, depending on our treatment or enjoyment. We are INDEPENDENT and have no allegiance or preference towards any company, chain or cruise line. This was our Face Book page review {nvtravelgroup.com} on returning from our summer Med Cruise last July {2023} Having recently enjoyed two Virgin Voyages and a Princess Cruise we decided to sample the Celebrity Cruises experience to see how they compared. So, this July, a short flight to Barcelona, a couple of days there to experience this fantastic city before embarking the Celebrity Reflection for a nine night Mediterranean Cruise, seven ports ending in Rome. Please take time to view our accompanying video entitled "Experience it all, in one trip" Embarkation was stress free and it wasn't long before we were enjoying a welcome cocktail aboard. We had chosen "Aqua Class" as it offered a great cabin with excellent location, allows unlimited access to the Spa and more importantly exclusive free and unreserved dining at the "Blu Restaurant." The Blu restaurant has an excellent varied menu but also an "off the menu" but always available Steak should you find the options not to your preferences. Wine glasses are never allowed to be empty and the service above exceptional. There are other restaurants of course, some come at an extra cost and for us, usually a variety is a must but we decided to visit the Blu throughout, loved it, loved the staff. We purchased the drinks package and enjoyed the unlimited cocktails and cafe coffees. Our checkout invoice totalled 3 Euros, so no hidden extras there. Seats for the nightly shows were always available and the Comedy Club was tops. Like boarding, disembarkation in Rome was effortless and our arranged transfer to Rome centre was stress free. Three nights in Rome, at over 40 degrees was sufficient to explore the city, consume endless Gelato and Pasta out. So which Cruise line tops our personal list. Virgin Voyages "Adult Only" concept is both unique and imaginative. Princes Cruises offers an excellent traditional cruise somewhat similar to Celebrity Cruises. All three gave us exceptional service and value. But our "Blu" experience tipped the scales, to put Celebrity Cruises at the head of our preferred list. It is easy to see why so many guest that we met on board were serial "Celebrity Cruisers" "Experience it all in one trip" a short video that we believe enlightens newcomers to all that Cruise offers. "Experience it all in one trip" can be viewed on FB - nvtravelgroup.com
