Is Ly.com legit for booking airline ticket?

I am looking at flights from Atlanta to Berlin for May 2019. Found Wego.com and found a flight that was a good price and then when clicking on link to me to Ly.com to book. I haven't been able to find any information/reviews on booking through Ly.com for flights. Has anyone used Ly.com to book their flight? If so what was your experience?

ly.com seems to be a Mandarin or Cantonese language website rather than an arline booking site. In any event, the fares you found at wego.com may not be live fares available for purchase.

I think it's too early to book for May 2019, but if you must do so now then go only to the airline's website to make the booking. Doing so will save you a great many potential problems and headaches in the next eight months.

I think you know not to book with a third party or you wouldn't be asking?

Just book with the airline directly and as TravellerPlus says, save yourself a lot of potential problems in the next few months.

Maybe read some of the thousands of posts on here warning about not booking with third parties (if you are still inclined to use Ly.com) and then run a mile!

Thank you, I don't have to book now was just looking to see what prices I would find. I guess I will wait and look at actual airline prices. Been trying to see what I should expect to pay for a "good deal" they had flights from around, $908.00 round trip per person. But that might not even be a good deal price.

The price probably doesn't even exist.

I agree. It's porbably more wishful thinking than anything else if anyone really expects to get those flights.

I've booked flights with them twice (to cut a long story short I previously lived in China and still have money in my WeChat wallet that I wanted to use up - you can search and pay directly via WeChat witgh LY.com - this is the only reason I booked with them).

For the two flights I booked I found that LY.com had the best price available compared to Skyscanner etc. The first time I booked I admit I did it half expecting to never see the money or to hear from them again, but it was fine.

They are a legitimate company and have an international Corporate Travel arm from what I discovered.

However 1) if there is a problem or you want to chase things (like add seat selection etc) it can be difficult to resolve (they are in China) and 2) if you use them to book a budget airline whereby you need to print boarding passes online, you wont be able to login to the airline website to print the tickets as LY.com use their own email address to register the booking and good luck getting that off them.

However, I didn't book budget airlines, my itinerary (with airline booking code) was emailed to me within 15 minutes and I had no problems whatsoever.

I have booked at ly.com and now I got headache because I just realized that my first name and surname is on reverse. I do not know how to contact them now. I already contact the airline and said that they could not help me to change that, because it is a third party. Any suggestion?

Airline tickets usually show the surname before the given name. A ticket for my screen mane would read NICK/SYDNEYMR

Hi Sydney, yes it should be like that. Unfortunately, my given name is before the surname. So, when I tracked on the airline website, I have to use my given name instead of my surname. And the customer service advised me that the name on ID should be match with the name on reservation.
