About
Head up to Thailand’s highest observation deck, for some of the best views in Bangkok at 1,030 feet high. Located at King Power Mahanakhon, you'll be able to see the glistening rooftops of Wat Pho temple, the Grand Palace, Chao Phraya River, and even the Gulf of Thailand on a clear day. You can enjoy the views from the indoor observation deck on the 74th floor, or upgrade your ticket to include The SkyWalk on the 78th floor where you'll find the glass trays—glass floors that make you feel like you're suspended in the sky. Snap some cool photos while you're up in the air—photography is allowed but you're required to keep all loose items and wear shoe covers. – Tripadvisor

The area

Neighborhood: Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.

    Panoramic views over Bangkok
We had great views over Bangkok from the top. The skywalk with the glass floor was fantastic - but very scary if you don’t like heights! It is optional though. You can stay at the top of the building as long as you wish and there’s lots of seats to relax on. There’s also a bar at the top that charged similar prices to the UK for cocktails, but a good experience!

    Newest attraction in Bangkok
This is one of the newest attraction in Bangkok. Ticket is not cheap - 880THB before sunset but worth a visit - first time you see Bangkok from a new view. Make sure you put on enough sunscreen as it is really hot during the day!

Great Experience, Very Touristy But Exceptional Views
As per the title this experience was great and incredibly enjoyable. Once up the top if you wish to walk on the glass walkway you will be given shoe coverings to do so. It’s worth noting that you cannot take cameras or any objects with you on to the glass so selfies are out but there are plenty of people willing to take pictures for you… and I mean PLENTY ha. As amazing as the skywalk is it does get pretty jam packed with people. Not being the biggest fan of heights I was nervous but did take a brief walk on the glass & appreciated it’s beauty. Away from the glass there is a amphitheatre like seating area for you to rest and enjoy the view and at the very top of the platform you have the most amazing views of Bangkok. This alone was worth the visit and I was able to get a couple of great landscape videos and pictures. There is also a bar area and you can order food and desserts, we were big fans of the sorbet.

Amazing views. Well worth the money.
We have 3 children 9, 17 and 20 and this was a winner with all of them. Amazing views of Bangkok and for the more adventurous ones a chance to walk out onto the glass floor. Great fun. A bit pricey but worth it. Best to buy directly from their website and well worth paying a bit more for the sunset option. We didnt get to see the sunset coz it was a bit cloudy but just seeing the city during the day and night was amazing enough.

    Amazing
Highly recommend this place. The view is high and very beautiful, you can see far away. Went in the evening when the sun was about to set. The atmosphere was good and the photos came out very beautiful. Anyone who is a photography enthusiast, I recommend it.

    Fantastic Views
I wasn’t sure if going to the top of a building would be worth the effort but I was wrong. It’s a really good experience, we purchased the skywalk ticket which involves the skywalk and a free drink. You enter the lift to go up and writhing 50 seconds you fly up 70 floors and inside the lift is animation which all works pretty well. Once you exit this lift there is another glass lift to enter or you can use the stairs, On the roof there is a bar, the skywalk which is a glass floor and an auditorium type seated area to chill and take in the experience.

    It's ok
I got free tickets to visit as I stat at Standard. I don't know how much does the ticket cost but somehow I think its nog worth. The thing thag excited me turned out is the animating elevator. The view was nice but nothing special. Skywalk is too little and too crowded.

    Definitely recommended!
A bit expensive if compared to other attractions in Bangkok but definitely worthy, especially if you go at sunset. The views are breathtaking and the skywalk experience thrilling! I’d recommend stopping at the bar for some surprisingly good cocktails paired with some Thai bites. After 19:00 the top floor closes but if you’re a guest in the bar, you may be offered to visit the skywalk once all tourists are gone: perfect moment to take some great pics!

    Must do when in Bangkok!
INCREDIBLE! Definitely worth going to for your trip to Bangkok! I went at 5pm and that was the perfect time to go. Not to busy but just as the sun starts to set. Got some amazing photos of before and during sun set. The drinks are EXTREMELY overpriced so not worth it. You can stand on the glass but cannot take your phone so not very solo friendly. The staff were very accommodating and took photos of me. Everyone was very kind up there too!

The famous Pixel building of Bangkok.

Great location to get a 360 view of Bangkok. It is very busy during the evening time when most tourist wanted to get a glimpse of sunset and wait for the night lights. Queue can be long while waiting for access to the lift which will brings you the indoor viewing gallery on level 74. To get to the outdoor viewing deck, take the escalator to level 75 and then either use the spiral staircase around the glass observation lift or take the lift itself.

Items like tripod and water are prohibited.

In order to go onto the Skywalk or glass platform, you have to leave your belongings on the shelf. Also, you are not allowed to use your camera or mobile phone whole on the platform, or any loose items while on platform for safety reason. Go with a friend if you want a photo of yourself on the glass platform.

Overall, the highest point are the sitting decks. There is a bar that sells food and drink, also a stall that sell hotdog.

This building is amazing, from the lobby to the rooftop. The architecture is impressive as it has a lego like structure.
The elevator is worth the ride, definitely shows that Thailand has more technology that you would think.
We had a beer in the roof top bar, that was expensive and not to cold, but the view it’s everything.
The coolest thing about this roof top is that almost everyone can enjoy it, because it doesn’t look dangerous, as you might think you will feel standing on a glass floor 300mts above the ground.
It has a nice gift shop, and as you go down you have to get pass by the King Power store, and both have cool souvenirs.

We were lucky this building also called the Lego building was next door to our hotel. The skywalk on level 78 is a glass walkway towering above the city, the 1st step on was a bit scary but was an amazing experience. On level 47 there are 360 degree views of Bangkok, we went before sunset so we could view the city in daylight and at night, an amazing experience. Note you can not take water into this building, drinks can be purchased on level 74 and 78.

My friends and I showed up and almost bought a ticket to head straight to the skywalk. However, we were waiting for one more person, so we decided to head up to the bar and decide what to do about the skywalk later (we didn't like the price.) Upon being seated, the waitress let us know if we spent a certain amount, it would give us free entry to the skywalk. When we did the math, it was the same amount as a ticket - so, instead, we ate and drank our fill and then went to the rooftop - much better deal!
Out on the skywalk, we had so much fun! It was night time and we were worried we wouldn't see much, but the view was breathtaking. There was a great DJ and the security staff were super helpful (shining lights on us to get good photos)... it was like being at the club lol

Wow what am awesome surprise, we had planned to go here after reading reviews, was our first place we visited in Bangkok, we loved it. The views are wow, night time would be even better, you can sit and admire the surroundings on the couches, and enjoy a drink from the bar. The skywalk itself is very cool, be prepared for the glass floor, it takes your breath away.

Yeah..kind of worth what you pay to get the experience. The kids were enjoying most in this place. Digital dispay elevator will take you to 74th floor within less than a minute.. lots of digital fun screen for kids to enjoy. This is tallest tower in Bangkok and with a grass tray roof to get a straight away downwards view. Worth paying.the sunset view is beautiful with 360 view of the city.we booked it through klook with some offers. One can get direct ticket from the counter. Evening entry is very crowded, better to be there by 4pm and spend some time till evening. There are roof top bar and fine dining in 77th floor.Easy connectivity from BTS.

King Power Mahanakhon building is the tallest building in Bangkok and I had visited this place during my last trip to Bangkok. I have booked tickets through Klook for the rooftop Skywalk which is the main attraction of the building. The skywalk is located on the rooftop at 78th floor and it has a see through glass floor. It was initially scary to step on the glass floor but once you get used to it, it's fun with the breathtaking views of the city. The experience was amazing and a photographer delight.

At 314m above ground, this is Thailand's tallest observation deck. Gives one a great 360 view of this dense maze of Bangkok, and the polluted air, so bad that you can only see blurred outlines of the skyscrapers in the far distance.

They've got some interesting display at Level 74 (not sure if they are permanent exhibits though), where one enjoys the view from indoor (fully air-conditioned). Before moving to Level 78 where you go into the outdoors including the Glass Tray, a section where you can train your heart, looking down to the ground. For this section, you have to put on shoe covers provided by them. There's also a bar here serving F&B, prices look reasonable.

There's no time limit or specific ticket entry time here, so one could sit thru all the way from day to dusk to catch the sunset view if you wish. I imagine it to be quite a sight but unfortunately we didn't have the time to do so today.

Very attractive building. Super fast lift to 74th floor. Can then go up to glass floor rooftop on 78th floor. Awesome views. Largest glass rooftop in world I believe. When exiting the lift takes you down to 74th then a further lift to 4th floor where you have a few floors of quality duty free shops. Great experience.

The view of the city is nice but since the tower is located a bit out of the center you do not really view the most famous attractions from above unless you have some kind of special zoom. For photos you just see a bunch of high buildings. Therefore I found the price quite expensive for the lack of diversity offered. The skywalk is quite small and no cameras or phones are allowed inside it so it is again insufficient for me. At least staff is very nice. And be aware that weather conditions may change rapidly and therefore the access to skywalk and rooftop gets closed.
