I had already 4 surfing lessons with Odysseys Surf School. I tried group lessons for beginners and private lesson for intermidiate level. Both of them were a lot of fun and useful skills. All intructors that I had are very professinal and willing to help you to ameliorate your surfing skills. Thank you Ty (Dewa Made) for all your help, I really learned a lot and want to come back again. From the first lesson I stand up on the board and on the third one already could catch a green waives. That's amazing. Also school providing pick up service (included in the price of the lessons) that is very helpful, changing rooms, shower, rush west and towel. And they always have a photographer on the beach that will catch your moments on the board. Really recommended.

My teacher 'Black' taught me not only physically, also mentally. First I feared about tremble down to water, but he kept giving me feedback over and over. I've overcome my greatest enemy, "FEAR", and made myself as a complete surf boarder!!!!! lol He's my Dr. Sean(hehe)

It’s my child and my first time surfing experience and odyssey surf school made us a wonderful memory. My child enjoyed so much and able to learn to stand on board and able to surf from far to shore. Although I am not able to do it but the coach made me feel comfortable with the experience and encouraged me to try enjoying water. The photographer there was amazing to take good shots of us and the price is really a good deal !! We highly recommend this to all visitors who would love to learn surfing! The beach is beautiful and the location is very close to Kuta beach walk mall which we can enjoyed our lunch before the class

What an unforgettable experience. I have had surf lessons around the world and this is the best one yet. The instructors Su and Alit were world class surf instructors. They were very engaged and friendly . They provided feedback which was so valuable to bring my surfing to the next level. I will come back here again and again for surf trips

I had a warm welcome to start, I only paid for a group lesson but it turned out to be a private lesson despite 2 other customers having their own instructor. Then Blake my instructor gave me first class tips to improve my stance. Then the hot shower and the fresh towel at the end was the icing on the cake! I recommend this school.

it was very cool) guys are professionals. for 3 lessons the price is 1.2 mil Rp. Last year, I took 1 lesson elsewhere for the price. and then immediately 3. I was very comfortable studying. and I caught my wave about 7 times. I highly recommend

All three of our boys (13,11,&8) tried surfing for the first time. They loved it so much and really felt accomplished at the end of the session. The older boys shared an instructor and our youngest had his own private instructor and it felt very safe as there were also additional lifeguards from Odysseys Surf School on the receiving end of the waves. They also had showers and changing rooms and filtered water to get clean and hydrated at the end of the session. Highly recommend!

What an absolutely wonderful experience I had with Odysseys surf school. Very professional and organized. The booking was easy. You can set up your lesson online through the website. I did mine in person since I was staying close by. I set up an intermediate lesson and was paired up with someone with great knowledge of the area and sport. We paddled out and the instructor assisted with reading the right waves to take as well as making sure I wasn’t dropping in on other surfers waves. They offered pointers on form and position as I set up for my next waves. They also looked out for sets coming in and let me know when I need to paddle out further. 2 hours goes by fast when you are having a great time. They also had a photographer out at the beach taking photos of your lesson and the pictures were available right away after the lesson. (For an additional cost) It’s always exciting to see ones “skills” in the water. 100% would recommend lessons from here. Will definitely set some up for my next visit.

Nothing new to add here! Past reviews says it all! You are definitely on great hands with Odyssey Surf School! Our family of 5 selected private 1:1 lessons for our 3 children so Mommy & Daddy could have fun learning to surf and boy did we in our couples semi private lesson 1:2! Although my husband accuses me of hogging up the instructors time! Bottom line... I’m 50 (yep) from California and proof never too old to finally learn to surf! Albeit helps when you have minute to minute amazing waves, warm (not freezing Pacific Ocean) and earnestly committed surf instructor who regards your success as their own! 2 Thumbs Up or Hang Ten for Odyssey Surf School. My only small problem is that there are no public bathrooms in the area ... I was hoping to wash sandy hands and reapply Sunblock in the kids ...but it’s a beach! Best way to start New Years Day 2020! Thank You Odyssey for your professional crew of instructors and to Sua and my kids private instructors! Everyone teases my twins that they looks like a surfers .. well, at last at 10 years old they are! 😊🏄

I only have good things to say about this school. I had private lessons with Omry and he was a really competent and friendly instructor. The staff is amazing! I have had good progress with my surfing. So all in all, I highly recommend this school for its competent and friendly staff and I would definitely go there again when back in Bali.

Hi Amber, we have insurance,locker,shower,surf equipment,change room,towel and hotel transfer (available for booking 24 hrs prior) included. You just need to bring your swimming suit and sunscreen.

Hi, I am in Bali from today till May 22nd. I am looking for surf lesson alongside my kids aged 10 and 13. We are just looking to be able to just learn basics and maybe be able to just stand on the board. Is it something that requires many lessons/days. I was looking at maybe spending 2 hours either tomorrow or day after.

If you want to just be able to learn the basics and to stand on the board, 1 day lesson would be enough. the duration of our lesson is of max 2,5 hours depending on the tide of the day. for kids age 10 and 13 they would be required to take the semi-private lesson as they would need a lot more attention from our instructors. Your daughter is old enough to take a private lesson with one of our instructors. The fact that she has some basic surfing skills and swimming abilities is a big plus! Besides that, our instructors and lifeguards will take great care for your daughter during her time in the ocean.
