The Homestead Hideaway was recently featured on "Scott's Vacation House Rules" and features a modern design, while maintaining a tranquil and peaceful feeling on Rice lake. Practice your pizza skills , make a Margarita, go for a paddle or dip off the dock, or simply relax by the fire while enjoying your favorite beverage.

The space
The Property is located at a dead end street. There are neighbors but in general the area is very quiet. Guests have access to the whole property which includes a playground, firepit, dock, Horseshoe court and outdoor patio area. The cottage inside is newly renovated and was featured on HGTV's "Scott's Vacation House Rules". The attention to detail is clearly shown throughout the cottage. The bedrooms are warm, Comfortable and the kitchen area is completely functional and would cater to any Chef's needs. Relax in the family room while watching a movie on the 52" inch tv screen or go for a dip off the dock and cool down after a long day of doing nothing.

Guest access
Guests have access to the whole property not including the storage shed located in the back front of the property.

Other things to note
We provide our guests with access to a Margarita machine. It's a Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville "Bali Frozen Concoction Maker". Guest are more than welcome to use it provided they supply the ice and ingredients. It's great way to relax and cool down at the same time. You can also make fun drinks for the kids.
Instructions for the machine are at the cottage and sent with our welcome package.

We also supply
Dish Soap, Hand Soap, Paper towels, Toilet paper, Bathroom towels, Coffee, Tea, Sugar, Bed Linens, some miscellaneous travel essentials incase you forget, Cooking Oils, Spices, and body soap.

We want to make your stay as easy as possible and most all we want you to enjoy the space and your time every minute you are there. The only thing we can't control is the weather.
