Horrendous customer service. Sent my Submariner to have bezel replaced and one link removed. They have had it for 6 months with ambiguous responses and no resolution as of 5/15/23

I went in to Bucherer Time Machine on East 57, NYC on Nov 19,2022. I initially made an inquiry to a female sales rep for a women’s datejust watch. I was very turned off by her dismisivness and sought out another rep. Jorge was friendly and I eventually purchased a women’s datejust watch and asked them to mail it to me as I was attending a gala that night. I waited to receive watch by way of UPS.
I NEVER received watch . My sales rep told me it was “scanned” by UPS and they don’t know what happened. Wow. I have never experienced not having anything not mailed to me as promised.
I mentioned this to Linda Bopp VP client services and she was also dismissive. She promised to call me back with regards to any information but didn’t.
Very poor customer service for high end products.
Maybe Bucherer should ship their high end products via courier service . Instead, they treat their product as a “pair of underwear”recklessly mailing it via UPS.

Purchased a Breitling last week. I had to call this Monday to see why my watch has not shipped. I was informed that the watch was not keeping the correct time and has been sent to the service department for repair. After not hearing back from them for two days I called back and they said that they emailed the service department and they would call me within 24 hours. I am shocked that they actually called back today but they told me that they couldn’t fix the part and had to send it back to Breitling to be repaired. I am concerned how they mention on their website about the quality of their watches and how they have this great inspection process. If my watch went through this great inspection process that they say they do there is no way that a watch sitting in a display case would break to the point it would have to be sent to the manufacturer to be fixed.

Never do business with this company! One of the sales reps used my info to call to pretend to be me to up my credit limit. I asked for a certain watch. Was told If I opened a credit card account with them I would certainly have the watch I was asking for. The sales rep never sold the watch I was asking for. I waited for 3 years. Was trying to sell me watches $5,000 above retail. I called to asked for another sales rep they would not give me one I spoke to the higher regional director. Lisa Fristik who happened to be in on it and accused me of being in with the sales rep on shady things just to not make her and what she advises her reps to do. I went above her and she got to her boss before I did basically made me look bad by saying lies and accusing me of doing things I never did just so they wouldn’t have to get me the watch I was asking to buy. I waited 3 years and was told to stop calling and asking for the watch to stop coming in the store and to go buy it from another retailer. I guess that’s how they are dealing with clients that spend a lot of money with them. Stuart Fisher who is the senior Vice President and on the council called me and said I was not a good customer after I informed him and his colleagues of a sales rep stealing from the company. All of my friends and coworkers then told me about the fraud they have going on with their sales reps and deceptive sales practices they Dave going on. They will tell you anything to get you to do business with them. But I am warning you do not do business with tourneau if you want your credit information stolen and fraud under their name. They Knowingly making false representation in an inquiry to acquire ones credit information when I talked to Stuart the so called Vice President he told me I couldn’t prove it as he was sounding guilty and when I asked him certain questions proving what I known to be true he said he would not answer that. Lisa Fristik is a fraud, when talking to her on the phone I don’t know how she even qualified for that job with all the remarks she made against me and rudeness. She should be working at Burger King. When I told them I have all the info in text messages and calls recorded they just told me to stop calling and go another place or close the account I opened up with them that I was told to open to get the watch I was requesting in the first place. Lisa Fristik a FRAUD AND A SCAMMER DONT DO BUSINESS WITH TOURNEAU

Have bought 4 high end watches from Madison and 57 store over the years. They offer free lifetime battery replacement. Took 3 of them in to have battery replaced, they took the watches then returned with 2. I ask where my 3rd watch is and they insist I have it, made me empty my bag in front of customers, made me feel like a thief (even though my own watch). After 20mins and me threatening to call the police, they ‘found’ it - someone had placed a bag on top of it, apparently. Awful experience and won’t ever go back. They treat their customers so badly. Customer service is not their strong point!

I purchased A Pre owned Rolex Submariner from Tourneau on February 5th 2019, I recently found out it is not authentic (fake) from the Rolex service center, I went to Tourneau and explained it to the Assistant Store director Katherine Prior, she was not complying & rude about the situation. This incident is still on going & will have more information soon but I truly recommend not to buy anything from any Tourneau. Especially because they sold A Fake Rolex watch & they know it. Their just trying to save some face.

I brought my watch in for cleaning and service update. They have a vast collection of fine watches and when you are ready to upgrade you can trade in.

Recently purchased a vintage 1970's watch on Ebay. The time was running very slow soon after I received it so I brought it to Tourneau 57/Madison in the Repair Section. I was told the 2 batteries were good and the watch needed to send out for an estimate/repair either by them or mail it myself to the watch Company. Tourneau would not work on it. Even though the watch was refundable on Ebay it was a special gift. What a headache. Disappointed and Ready to send it back on Ebay I decided to bring it to another reputable watch repair in Grand Central. Within 10 minutes I was told the watches 2 batteries were just weak, they were both replaced and instantly the Watch now keeps perfect time. A call to Tourneau voicemail to determine what "tech" made that determination so far no return call.

I am more than a little perplexed by this hi-end watch shop. I went to BUY a high end luxury watch. We stopped in on day 1. The sales person couldn't tell a Timex from a Rolex. We walked and came back later on to deal with someone else. I'm wearing a big ticket watch, my colleague is wearing a big ticket watch but we were looked at like rubes. They had a CPO watch I liked for 6k which was nuts, the comps from other authorized dealers was mid 4s.. I offered a fair value and I was looked at like I had 6 heads. I walked again... The my poop don't stink attitude is amazing here... Funny thing, I bought the comp from another authorized dealer for 1300.00 UNDER their best price.. Oh, I was a prior customer...

Although I find the watches there to be of the highest quality with all the top brands, I was very disappointed with the level of personal service I encountered when I went in to see about fixing or possibly upgrading my Rolex. They seemed only interested in people who wanted to buy a watch on the spot, and were less interested with a casual browser or window shopper. It was somewhat busy, so maybe I will give it another try next time Im in the area, but unless your ready to pony up, I wouldnt count on any special attention. Which is a shame as the store has everything else going for it as far as location, cleanliness, ample staff, and great selection of gorgeous watches.
