The program is an antivirus and anti-spyware scanning tool that is developed on the Dr.Web engine which will help you quickly scan and cure, if necessary, a computer without installation of the Dr.Web Anti-virus. It automatically detects the language of the OS it is installed to and sets the scanner interface accordingly (if the local language is not supported, English is enabled).
The interface of the utility is localised in 23 languages: Russian, Azerbaijani, English, Bulgarian, Hungarian, Greek, Spanish, Italian, Kazakh, Chinese (simplified.), Chinese (traditional), Latvian, Lithuanian, German, Polish, Portuguese, Serbian, Slovak, Uzbek, Ukrainian, French, and Estonian.
The utility will cure an infected system once, but it is not designed to provide your PC with real-time protection from viruses. The utility available on our website always features the latest virus definitions, but its virus databases aren’t updated automatically. Included in the utility is a set of virus databases that are only current until a new update is released (usually one or more times per hour).
How will I find out if my computer has been infected?
1. Download the software.
2. Double-click on the downloaded file.
3. Wait while the utility scans your system. When the scanning is finished, view the scan report.
