The light show was excellent except that there was great classical background music spoiled by the chattering class (literally!)

Fantastic place to visit whilst visiting Singapore. Hotel was near to gardens so able to walk for my visit around busy work schedule.

Information on arrival very clear and made my way around the gardens easily. High light was visiting the Orchid garden and well worth the extra cost to enjoy the magnificent displays.

Be sure to visit either for a welcome break from work, the city or just for leisure!!!

Orchards grow so well in climates like Singapore's so it's no surprise that the National Orchid Garden has such a great variety of these beautiful, sometimes curious plants. This garden sits within the Singapore Botanic Garden (free entry) and is surprisingly large with indoor and outdoor gardens including the Cool House (take a breather from the heat here) and the VIP orchard section with unique specimens named after the famous and infamous.
The entry fee is $15 (only $1 if you're local), but with over 1000 species and 2000 hybrids on display, and more being nurtured, (they run a breeding program here too), I think it's well worth the price.

We bought the combined ticket to cover this and the flower dome and enjoyed both conservatories equally. It’s surprisingly cool inside which is lovely in a hot day. We enjoyed the waterfall and the high level walkways from which you can see the beautiful planting. It takes about an hour to walk your way through if you stop and take a few photos and look at all the plants.

"Singapore Zoo offered a decent wildlife experience. While the variety of animals was impressive, some enclosures felt a bit dated. The staff were friendly, but the overall atmosphere lacked a bit of excitement. It's worth a visit if you're in the area, but may not be a top priority."

Get yourself along to this free gem of fireworks followed by a laser light show on water. It’s a quick 15 mins but worth seeing.

Great views across the bay - seeing the gardens from above, the sands hotel and the rest of the bay. Plenty of space in each pod and well worth a visit. There is an experience as you make your way to the front if you want to go on a journey - or rush to the main event but expect a queue. Definitely worth a visit.

This should be a must see while in Singapore. I know you can see it from the top of the Marina Bay Sands but that seems too far. Go to the park and see it from below. The 2 light shows are at 745 and 845. Try and time it to see the show from the walkway above.

We were in Singapore on the cruise ship QM2 for our 25th wedding anniversary we booked the Sunset champagne and chocolates package at the top of the sky deck and it was a super experience for around 2hrs during the sunset and light shows visible from the top. With this package you get your own table in a quiet roped off section of the sky deck and are made to feel special by the very attentive staff. Your experience includes VIP no Q lift access up and down a guided tour around the deck as well as a glass of champagne and delicious chocs. A photographer captures some pictures for your evening which are developed and presented to you as you leave ( all included in the price) Book ahead this is a limited offering each night and well worth the cost. We thought all the staff were excellent but in particular Adam, Faith, Emily and Angel made our evening special…Thank you.

A busy Chinatown. Lots of colourful buildings, temples & people. Didn't end up dining here, though certainly not for lack of options. Worth a stroll.

The Merlion is cool to look at but the views of the bay and the MBS hotel are much nicer. Worth a quick trip if you are in the area. There are plenty of restaurants in the immediate area as well. Come at night.

The views, good by day and better by night, are awesome! Was here for a stroll with family and they just kept clicking! Plenty of options for shopping & dining.

We bought a combined ticket with the cloud forest and that was a good option. I’d recommend doing the flower dome first as it takes less time to walk around and the cloud forest is even better.

There’s gardens representing various countries plus a main floral exhibition. When we attended it was for cherry blossom trees (Japan) which was especially beautiful.

It’s cooler in here than outside which is a welcome relief in Singapore (where it was 33 degrees during our visit).

Allow 45 mins to an hour depending on how much you read about the plants!

A must do if in Singapore. A great way to get from the city to Sentosa Island and all that it has to offer. Fantastic views over the harbour on the way. Worth the cost and the que.
