Only 43 passengers on our Boeing 777 from Manchester to Barbados, so it felt like a private jet. We had booked Premium seats and they were a nice size. The plane itself didn’t feel particularly new so the seat-back screens needed quite a bit of pressing to make them work. It was lucky there was nobody in the row in front of us or behind us as it could have been quite annoying. The cabin crew were lovely and kept us topped up with any drinks we wanted. The food was pretty good for airline food and nicely presented. We especially liked the “afternoon tea” which was served a couple of hours before we landed. We also arrived in Barbados approx 40mins ahead of schedule which was a bonus. Overall a pretty pleasant fight for a long haul.…

Virgin Atlantic has a pretty good product once you get on board, but their business class herringbone configuration is odd and old. The real problem with this airline is that if anything, and I mean anything goes sideways you are on your own. My wife's luggage was lost and the customer service was terrible and frankly non existent. With this airline you really roll the dice and hope nothing goes wrong, because if it does here is what happens: 1. You will not be able to talk to a real person, unless you wait on hold for greater than one hour 2. When you get a hold of someone, they will give you a standard response with no help or followup. 3. They will hide behind the Montreal convention and severely undervalue your belongings. 4. When they lost our luggage, they made really no effort to find our bags, and we ended up losing a lot on money in this situation with ZERO remedy. It's cheaper for them to just declare it lost, and not bother anymore. Will never fly them again, I just can't trust the company.…

I always travel on VS flight 355 and 25 to get back home to the United States. My father flew from Mumbai to JFK and had amazing hospitality from the ground crew to the cabin attendants. He would like to fly with them again when he goes on vacation to India in November. By the way, now my mother India also wants to travel with VS Airways.
