I LOVE this place! The Hulk roller coaster has been one of my favorites for years! I’m a roller coaster fanatic. The new Jurassic World VelociCoaster is unbelievable!!! I had a three year old and a baby with me and there were many things for them to do and see as well. They have the cutest Dr. Seuss area for kids. If you are a Harry Potter fan this place is a must see. Unfortunately, Harry Potter and the forbidden journey ride was down during this visit which was super disappointing! This is my favorite of the two Universal parks.

My mum, fiancé & myself came here for the day on 18th April. We checked in at 0730 as we had the dolphin encounter booked.
We had one of the first dolphin encounters of the day, so had breakfast straight away.
The dolphin encounter & swim was fantastic! We got to meet the lovely Capricorn & Aries for our encounter - true definition of gentle giants.
The rest of the day we made the most of the other things to do. We thoroughly enjoyed feeding the birds in the aviary. We also had a nice swim round the lazy river.
Overall the food was excellent, could even help yourself to crisps, pretzels, pizza & cookies throughout the day. A good selection of soft & alcoholic drinks available too.
We treated ourselves to the photo package from the dolphin encounter & yes, pricy, but worth it for the memories.
Staff were fantastic, we’d definitely return!

Decent shows, safari tour, and food. Crowded but to be expected. Do the Everest roller coaster for a little thrill. Food was decent. Lion king show and Nemo show were loved by our two year old.

After a somewhat disappointing visit to Islands of Adventure, we had a really good visit next door at Universal Studios Orlando. We learned a valuable lesson: visit theme parks before schools are out in late May.

Other than paying $141 for each ticket, we enjoyed USO more than IoA for the first time! We arrived at 9 am again, and it was a great morning. It was in the upper 80’s, but the cloudy skies made it feel more like the 70’s. There were hardly any lines, so we quickly got on every ride.

The highlight of the day was the very first ride you come to, the Ripride Rocket. Like the Hulk and VelociCoaster, it is not for the faint of heart, but it’s another great ride. One in our family likes the Mummy ride the most.

We didn’t make the time to review the USO restaurants like we did IoA, so we went with Mel’s Diner, which is decent theme park fare. We enjoyed chicken strips, a hot dog and a salad for $56, a little higher than and not as good as Three Broomsticks the day before. $4.50 for a soft drink and NO free refills is frustrating!

After lunch we went to the Jason Bourne Stunt-tacular. It’s a good show and a nice break from the heat. When we came out of the theater, the clouds were gone and the heat returned. As I said about IoA, we wish they had more shade and more places to sit.

A second visit to Kings Crossing and the world of Harry Potter was just what we needed. It really feels like you are in the land of wizards. Take your kids to see the “show” at Ollivander’s Wand Shop.

So many people go after the big parks, and they miss out on old time fun. They may not have all the robots and dramatic effects, but they are consistent on a good time for a family.
You can visit for free with an armband the gator venue here at the park. We were so pleased to see Lucas introducing us to muffin, it was a great experience. Had a chance to meet Emma who took care of us in our bill at Johnny Rockets, when we made a mistake. Everything is so pleasant here when you communicate your needs.

We went during the flower festival and they had a variety of food booths and topiaries set up that were lovely. Plan appropriately for the Guardians of the Galaxy queue, it fills up in about 2 seconds when the check in goes live. And plan on waiting for an hour inside once your group does get called. Wear lots of sunscreen and a hat, and take lots of breaks inside. On these hot May days, it was brutal at times.

The place where dreams come true. From entering the park to leaving it felt like you were in the magical world of Disney. We entered the park at opening and left at closing clocking up some serious step counts when we were there.

The food is pricey but you expect that. The usual tat was brought from the gift shops.

The family loved it and created those special family moments that will last a lifetime.

We visited Seaworld last month. My mum & I have been a few times previously, but first time for my fiancé.
We enjoyed the animals, including feeding the rays & the sea lions. We saw the Orca show, we like how it has been adapted to showcase their care & not so much doing tricks.
We enjoyed the rescue & rehab sections - fantastic to see their work & achievements.
We enjoyed the rides - especially Mako.
We had a lunch at the shark reef grill? A nice long lunch watching the fishes.
The highlight was paying extra to do the walrus encounter. We were part of a group of 7, meeting lovely Slowpoke. Was lovely to learn about the walruses & feed her some fishes & get some kisses & belly rubs.
You can see how much the trainers love the animals. We will be back in the future!

We had a lovely day here. We were lucky enough to get a family cabana, which was worth doing for a private space, it also came with unlimited soft drinks. It is a shame that Blizzard Beach was closed as we used to love visiting both Disney water parks, I hope that they can have both parks open at the same time soon. There are some really fun attractions here, the water coaster is great fun, as well as some raft rides and body slides. It is a shame that they got rid of the shark pool as I loved this experience! As much as I love this park, I have to say that Volcano Bay has the edge over this one!

I like Blizzard beach. It isn't as popular as Volcano Bay but it being a little less busy is part of the attraction.
    Free parking.
    Excellent coffee.
Some excellent food choices and ...
    Relatively cheap lockers !
    Ideal for all the family.
