DreamWorks' Kung Fu Panda rolls into Minecraft!

Did I enter 2024 thinking I’d become a kung fu master? No. Did I imagine I’d turn into a panda? Well, it was one of my resolutions, but I also didn’t want to get my hopes up. Yet here we are! The DreamWorks Kung Fu Panda DLC is now available at Minecraft Marketplace which means destiny is calling.

This adventure map is filled with action-packed battles, epic showdowns from the movies, and pand-tastic co-op action, so sharpen those chopsticks and start practicing your kung fu kicks – it’s time to unleash the Pandamonium!

TRAIN WITH PO AND THE FURIOUS FIVE

We begin like all new kung fu students: by climbing the stairs to the Jade Palace (thankfully, you can double jump!). Your training is in the blocky paws of the legendary Dragon Warrior himself, Po, which means anything can happen. Literally. Practice alongside Master Shifu, Zhen, and the Furious Five as you take on the (in)famous training hall, practice your aim with fireworks, and learn how to kick, punch, and skadoosh in battle!

FIND YOUR CHI

Kung fu is also about finding your chi. And chi is what makes us the best versions of ourselves. So sneaking off to visit Mr. Ping’s Noodle Shop or catching your breath under the Peach Tree might not be such a bad idea! Not to mention seeing if you can find all the cookies Monkey has hidden…

Before you know it, you’ll be invited up to the Panda Village to compete in the ancient tradition of dumpling eating. And maybe get a hug from Po’s panda dad.

BATTLE ENEMIES OF THE PAST

But life as the Dragon Warrior isn’t all dumplings and rolling down hills, it’s also facing danger. Especially when that danger threatens the future of kung fu! Travel to the far corners of China and beyond as you take on the many nemeses from Po’s past. From battling Tai Lung under the blood moon in the Chameleon’s Lair to taking down the fiery fleets of Lord Shen or even facing General Kai in the Spirit Realm, one thing is certain – it’s lucky pandas are so bouncy!

RETURN THE LOST ARTIFACTS

Explore every corner of this vast map to find and return the ancient artifacts to the Hall of Warriors. I think this is where I’ll be my absolute best considering how I've practiced every morning for years when looking for my keys. And after all, that’s what kung fu is about. Not finding keys but finding who you are meant to be. Which in this case is a Kung Fu Panda!
