About the centre
Sponsored by CLP Power, the CLP Power Low Carbon Energy Education Centre is the first of its kind in Hong Kong. The education centre is located at City University’s campus which showcases the importance of low carbon energy in addressing climate change.
The centre has 5 themed zones:
- Climate Change and Fuel Choice
- Renewable Energy
- Natural Gas
- Nuclear Power
- Powering the Future
The centre features multimedia and interactive elements including a 3D immersive display system that takes visitors inside a nuclear reactor.

You are welcome to visit the centre. Admission is free. Guided tours can be booked online for groups with a minimum of 15 visitors. You can also visit the centre anytime via the virtual tour on its website.
