The hotel is a big convention centre with a lot of tourists from around the world. It is a very big building and you can’t miss it. The hotel was nice and it did a job for a nights stay but the room was very basic and had tired furnishings. It also advertises that it had a pool, but this was closed. The hotel also advertised a gym for guests but this was an extra charge which wasn’t advertised when booking the hotel via hotels.com. There is a free shuttle bus which was handy to head to Osaka station as it is quite a walk otherwise.

This is a beautiful hotel and staff is very welcoming and attentive, as is common in Japan. Our room was nice but the bed was quite small for 2 adults, more like a US standard to queen size. This was a bit unexpected in a world class hotel. Breakfast was nice, offered as buffet or a la carte but not included in room rate. They have a convenient and free shuttle from Osaka JR station, located with other shuttles outside the station.

我和父母在大阪麗嘉皇家酒店住了4晚，這是家有超過1000間客房的大型酒店。由於我有IHG年度酒廊通行證，我可以隨時帶一個人使用Presidential Towers的行政酒廊。帶第二個人的收費太高，且要按餐收取，沒有優惠價，所以我父母通常要輪流跟我。行政酒廊的服務生有些非常出色（尤其是築地小姐），而其他人則不在意客人。樓下的早餐選擇更豐富，但酒廊早餐有更多高級品項。前檯工作人員通常很有禮貌，但有些人幾乎不諳英語。酒店與中之島驛直接連通，並全天提供免費巴士往返於JR大阪驛，早上也有前往日本環球影城的免費巴士，住客可以輕鬆使用這家酒店作為探索關西地區的樞紐。
My parents and I stayed at the Rihga Royal Hotel Osaka for 4 nights. This is a large hotel with over 1000 rooms. Because of my IHG Annual Lounge Membership, I could always take 1 guest to use the Presidential Towers Executive Lounge. The supplement to take in a second guest is quite high, and it would be charged on a per-meal basis with no package rate available, so my parents usually had to take turns. Attendants at the Executive Lounge were hit and miss. Some were superb (especially Ms. Tsukiji), while others could not care less. The breakfast downstairs had a better spread, although the breakfast offered at the Executive Lounge had more premium options. The front desk staff members were generally courteous, although some of them hardly understood English. The hotel is directly connected to Nakanoshima station and also offers complimentary bus to/from JR Osaka station throughout the day and to Universal Studios Japan in the morning, making it easy for guests to use this hotel as the hub to explore the Kansai area.

The hotel has a lot of services inside which is convenient & relatively cheap - however unfortunately our stay was ruined by an incident of discrimination my (Hispanic and person of color ) mother and I experienced at the French hotel. We wanted to go in and have a drink and enjoy the view however as soon as we walked in the waiter told us to leave with little explanation. when we demanded an explanation he said it was for guests only, when we said we were guests, he then said they were closed - despite seeing many people dining inside. Finally another waiter came out and apologized and allowed us to sit - unfortunately by this point it had really ruined our last night in Japan and left a bad taste. Do not recommend.

The rooms were large and clean but very dated and the air con wasn’t working so we were always too hot! Our trip was in April so wouldn’t cope in the height of summer. The hotel entrance is impressive but this isn’t reflected in the rooms.
Breakfast options weren’t great compared to other hotels we have stayed in and staff weren’t that helpful when we were trying to enquire about laundry facilities.
Quite far out of the main attractions of Ōsaka but there is a free shuttle to JR Ōsaka which is helpful and the saving grace of the hotel!

Paid for the room with a king size bed and on the higher floor. The view was great from the room and well worth the extra money. Hotel is right above Keisan rail line and you can take it to the Osaka loop to catch a JR line. Overall good location and good hotel.

Big old, tired tour bus style hotel. Priced accordingly. Executive lounge was chincy. They give IHG Diamond Elite members a small salad with shavings of cheese and ham with an alcohol or non-alcohol beverage during two hours in the evening, while other non-IHG guest are treated to a very nice, sumptuous, spread. If they insist on discriminating against IHG Diamond members they should just put us in another walled off part of the lounge because it is silly, demeaning and quite humbling to be told you can't have what the other person sitting next to you receives.

このホテルはIHG加盟ホテルなのに今まで泊まったIHGホテルの中で1番印象がよくなかった。私たちはIHG Diamond 会員なんですが、サービスが本当によくなかったです。ラウンジは19:30までしか使えないと言われたし、サービスが他のお客様と全然違いました。このサービス差別の理由を聞いたら「貴方たちは23F以上の階に泊まってないから提供できるサービスがほかのお客様と異なりますそ、ラウンジは19:30までしか使えない』と言われました。また23F受付担当の村上さんの接客レベルに驚きました。再度お客様に対するおもてなしなどの研修を受けさせたほうがよいです。また廊下にゴキブリもみました！もう二度とこのホテルに泊まりません！

We will never stay at this hotel again!! We also saw cockroaches in the hallway !!

Let me begin by saying the hotel needs some renovation, but is nice. The lobby is so I inviting . They just don’t get it ! Huge lobby and nice , but if you want to sit relax they expect you to sit on uncomfortable dining chairs that are literary 6 inches apart . They have an area that has beautiful waterfall ? But is closed til 10:30 ! Really ! So they expect you to go back to your room with no coffee and I guess watch Japanese language TV. We also stayed at Sheraton American hotel. Setup was implant beautiful garden area totally open to guests all the time !!!’ I would personally avoid the hotel to much competition that is accommodating !!

We stayed here on a tour to Osaka arranged by business partners. It's an old property but very well maintained. There is a sense of old world luxe about it. Large lobby ideal for large group arrivals. The rooms were western in size. The breakfast buffet was amazing, one of the best I've had in a hotel! It's far from the city center and the shuttle going there was always full, so we took taxis instead.

Free bus to the hotel, or train for a few bucks is right down the road from the hotel.
Standard check in time is 2pm-3pm. It depends on the availability of the room when you arrived. Check with them upon check in if the room is ready or not. I am sure the friendly staff will be able to assist you with options. You can store your bag with the hotel concierge if you wish to go out. They have shuttle service out from hotel to Osaka Station. Hassel free, you can stroll around there before check in time.
