LUFTHANSA SCAM : refund offer lie

I planned to do a trip this year in July 2024. I booked the flight months ago with a cancellation option. Today (May 2024), I found out that I can't travel, unfortunately. As I went on their website to cancel my ticket, they only offered to refund 36 euros out of 309 euros. This is frustrating and disappointing. I DON'T RECOMMEND the company. THEY AREN'T TRUSTWORTHY. This is already the second German company, I planned to fly with, that lied about refund. Won't fly with any German company again until they don't improve their terribly bad customer service.…

strongly advise against LH

Can NOT recommend ! Choose a different airline if possible I've had quite some disappointing experiences with Lufthansa over the years but my recent one will make me never book with them again. While checking my booking in their system their website errored and my flight was cancelled. I received an email that I will get a reimbursement of the taxes. I immediately called the service centre, waiting for 40 min to only get the useless information that they cannot do anything but that they can help me to book a new flight -- NOT free of charge of course. And that the only option I had was to submit a passenger rights claim form. Well, the response I got from the customer relations to that claim was that I was informed of the changed flight on May 9, 2023... my flight was April 23rd, 2024. I hadn't even booked in May 2023. And the claim was made April 2024, not even May (assuming the year was just a typo). What idiots. But of course I rebooked with them because they do have the best (direct) flight connections. And then my ticket showed 1 checked baggage included instead of 2 which was written on the website when I booked. So of course I called the very useless service centre again to just get "help to book another piece for 70 euros". This is just my 2024 experience so far, there is many more from previous years. I expected a lot more from a big airline like this...…

Delayed because of Lufthansa

Encouraged the travellers to check in hand luggage to save space in the plane. Ended up waiting hours for it to come after we landed.

Worst airline!!!!!!!!!😡

My flight from Paris to Dubai on 7th of February under Lufthansa with flight number LH2235 has been canceled and rescheduled to a different airline (airfrance). However, we had to pay an extra baggage allowance as Lufthansa did not include it when they transferred us to Air France, which I purchased it from before. I have already contacted the airline multiple times to follow up on the refund, but up until now I have not heard any updates from them.!!!!!!!…

Sad excuse for business class

We weren't sure how this was going to turn out as we received about 5-6 emails in the few days before flying. We had booked business class from Montreal (Air Canada) to Budapest via Frankfurt (Lufthansa). Our seats were chosen when we booked via our travel agent. A few days before our connection, they changed the aircraft and the computer reassigned every seat in business class randomly. We were no longer sitting together even though the new plane had the same number of seats as the previous one (why not keep everyone where they were in the first place). Each subsequent email kept changing our seats. Luckily when we checked in, we were able to change seats so that we could sit together again. Upon entering the plane, we saw what they called business class. It was the exact same cheap seat as in economy, 3 and 3 rather than 2 and 2. The only difference was that they didn't sell the middle seat so 2 people using 3 seats on each side. So much for comfy business class seats.…
