Dyson Black Friday Deals Are Available Now Through Saturday Only

Following
Black Friday and Cyber Monday

This story is part of the Forbes Shopping guide to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, where we’ll be tracking the best deals all month long.

Dyson is at it again. They skipped out on Prime Day deals earlier this year to hold their own, better, month-long sales event on their site. And now they're doing it again with Dyson Black Friday deals that beat anything else you can find online.

If you're looking for an upright vacuum, a purifying fan/heater, hair care tech, a stick vac, or even desk lighting, Dyson has some amazing products and unbeatable deals on their site now through Saturday, November 28.

Many of these deals also offer additional bonus tools or accessories that you won't be able to get anywhere else with any other deal. Here are my favorite deals, direct from the Dyson site.

Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute

Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

Stick vacs have been around for a while, but it was Dyson that made the stick vac a suitable replacement for your upright vacuum cleaner. The V10 Absolute is, well, the absolute best V10 that Dyson has to offer. It has 14 cyclones of power (these cyclones create mini vortexes to create suction power, more cyclones, more suction), 99.9% filtration, 60 minutes of continuous battery power, and quick attachment swapping.

The V10 might not have the auto-surface sensing or LCD of its successor, the V11, but it has the same three-suction modes and nearly as much total power as the more recent model. The V10 Absolute comes with a dizzying array of attachments including a motor-driven brush head, soft roller for hardwood floors, mini motorized brush tool, crevice tool, combo tool, dusting brush, and, if you purchase the V10 on the Dyson site, a mattress tool. Most of these have places to fit on the docking station or the V10 itself.

Vacuuming with the V10 is simple, just pull the soft trigger and go. While I sometimes wish that it had a trigger lock like some other competitors do (like the Roborock H6) it's a minor inconvenience. The V10 is $150 for Black Friday off and comes with $75 in free tools, either a spot-cleaning kit or a furniture kit.

Dyson V8 Absolute

Dyson V8 Absolute

The V8 is Dyson's first generation of stick vacuums. Evolving from the exclusively handheld V7, it maintains the same form factor, but adds a wand, ceiling reach tool and under-furniture tool to take advantage of the extra reach. Even if the V8's motor is a couple of generations behind at this point, that doesn't mean it's any less impressive of a performer.

I used the previous gen D7 for years and felt that I was getting things any less clean than with my upright vacuum. It runs for up to 40 minutes on a full charge and has two suction modes so that you can kick up the power when you need it for rugs and carpets. The attachment system is a simple mechanical one that makes it super simple to switch between the powerbrush, crevice, and combo tools or pop off the wand entirely to switch to handheld mode.

Emptying the bin is easily done with the press of a trigger, but you may still have to dig around to get clumps of hair or dustbunnies. With the clear canister, it's easy to see when the unit is full and it doesn't lose suction as it fills. The V8 is also $150 and comes with the $75 spot-cleaning kit when you purchase it from the Dyson site.

Dyson Ball Animal 2

Dyson Ball Animal 2

If you prefer upright vacuums to stick vacs, this is the best deal I've seen all year. Dyson is knocking $200 off the Ball Animal 2 vacuum. The Ball vacs are nimble performers that are easy to use due to the fact that most of the weight of the unit is housed in the rolling ball at the base.

The Animal 2 can turn on a dime and has an extendable wand stored in the handle of the vac that you can use with the stair and combo attachments. The tangle-free turbine tool is perfect for attacking those couches that are covered in pet hair. Plus, when you auto-register your purchase on the Dyson site you can choose from either a dusting kit or hard floor cleaning kit, with a value up to $100.

The dust bin pops off the main unit and is easy to empty and the filters are meant to last the lifetime of the vacuum with regular washing. Especially if you don't vacuum as frequently as you should and you need the extra power of an upright vac when you do clean, this eye-catching yellow model should be on your list.

Dyson Pure Hot+Cool HP01

Dyson Pure Hot+Cool

Dyson's air purifier/whole room fan is an engineering marvel. Out of the box, it looks like no fan you've ever owned (well, unless you've owned another Dyson device). The top of the unit is a long, skinny "Air Multiplier" and the base is dominated by an enormous HEPA filter that sucks 99.7% of ultrafine particles out of the air.

Plug it in, grab the magnetized remote control off the top of the unit, set it to Auto and it starts working right away to trap pollutants in the air. You can see what your air quality is like at a glance with the LCD on the front of the unit. The remote gives you access to all of the basic functions of the Pure Hot+Cool but you can also use voice assistants like Alexa.

There are a ton of customization options. You can raise or lower the heating temperature, switch to cooling, control the fan speed, change airflow direction, activate oscillation, or engage Auto mode or Night mode. Even at full blast, the Pure Hot+Cool is fairly quiet, but for sensitive sleepers, you can set Night mode, where the fan won't blow above a certain level to minimize noise. If you have a large room to heat or cool, the purifier rotates 350 degrees to cover every inch. You can set smaller rotation increments in the app or with the remote.

The $499 Pure Hot+Cool is a great year-round air quality solution and right now Dyson is taking $125 off the retail price for its site-exclusive iron/silver model.

Dyson Lightcycle floor

Dyson Lightcycle floor

The Dyson Lightcycle series of lamps are some of my favorite products to come out in the past few years. Not only do they output an extreme amount of light, they also have smart tricks that elevate them from "fancy lights" to "lights of the future."

The Lightcycle can be set to auto-detect when someone walks into the room. It also syncs with the Dyson app to get your location and then adjusts the intensity and color of your light accordingly to match the sunlight in your area (or, if it's nighttime, to dim and color shift appropriately). It also adjusts to the amount of light in the room so that you're not blinded by your lamp when there's less ambient light.

The wonderfully smooth three axis positioning of the floor lampand the copper heat piping in the arm of the Lightcycle are both a testament to Dyson's engineering design. Is it overkill? Yes it is. Does it make the Lightcycle floor exponentially nicer than any floor lamp you've ever pieced together from a big box store? Yes it does.

All that smart technology and impeccable design comes at a very real price, but Dyson has knocked a full $200 off the stylish black on black model on their site, bringing it down to "just" $699. It's an excellent deal on the best task light I've ever had the pleasure of using.

Dyson CSYS task light

MOST POPULAR

Dyson CSYS Task light

If you're looking for a desk lamp and don't the connectivity of the Lightcycle, check out the black on black CSYS light. It employs the same light pipe technology (without the color shifting or motion detecting) for ultra precise lighting. The touch-sensitive dimming controls ensure that you get precisely the right amount of light for your project. The smooth gantry system allows the CSYS to raise and lower as well as move back and forth effortlessly. With a bulb life of 60 years, it's possibly the last task light you'll ever need to purchase. It's $200 off on the Dyson site for Black Friday.

Dyson Supersonic

Dyson Supersonic

The Dyson Supersonic is the most you'll ever pay for a hairdryer, but after you use it, you'll wonder why you ever wasted your money on other, inferior products. The motor is mounted in the handle so that you can direct the phenomenal amount of airflow to your hair without your arm getting tired. There are precise controls on the edge of the unit, with multiple speeds and heats to choose from. You can also switch to a cold shot to lock in styling. The Supersonic comes with a number of magnetic attachments such as a smoothing nozzle and diffuser. When you buy direct from Dyson, you'll also get a stand to hold the Supersonic and its attachments as well as two vented styling brushes and a case to hold everything. With an accessory package worth $120, it's definitely a deal you'll want to get.
