This property has a wonderful staff. We began our stay when my mom became very ill. During the stay we extended twice, which during the stay my mom passed away. The staff provided me a condolences card. Nick, at the front desk is awesome! The rooms are nice and large, with a small kitchenette. Great for extended stays. The wifi is very good here. Rooms are clean and there is a small gym. However the washers during the entire month were out of order, forcing us to go to the laundromat, probably cheaper too. If you're staying out in Long Island, its a great location. Nearby there is a Target and a LIRR train station. Some pretty good restaurants nearby also. Its very close to the Southern State Parkway. Overall we were very happy with our stay here. We'll be back in December for Christmas.

We are delighted that your stay with us was enjoyable. Everything we do is aimed at providing you with an excellent hotel experience and your feedback is extremely valuable. I am truly sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. I'm glad the staff was able to comfort you in your time of need. Please let me apologize about the washer and dryer situation. We are about to undergo a renovation and the washer and dryers will all be replaced. Because the entire facility is changing, we are waiting until we can get the flooring and wall coverings completed prior to placing brand new machines into the room. We look forward to seeing you in December!! and truly appreciate you sharing your thoughts with us so that we may continue to deliver exceptional service in the future.

Very disappointing: no bath towels in the room (great to find out when you step out of a shower all wet), empty shampoo and conditioner bottles, desk clerk who promised compensatory points and didn't deliver the whole amount promised and a manager who did not return my call. I really did not want to write this review. But being blown off is not fun. Neither is not receiving value.
This property is NOT typical of a Marriott property where I have ALWAYS been treated with superb hospitality, good value and graciousness.

Staff was very pleasant our room had an electric fire place. So unexpected and so beautiful! Breakfast was great. Hot and variety every day! The kitchen staff was friendly! Will certainly return to this hotel!

We had no idea what to expect, as we were overnighting here on route to the Hamptons after a late Friday workday in the city. The hotel itself is not near anything, but ubers are easily accessible for a ride to the nearby complex with a TGI Fridays, Love Sushi, etc. to get a bite to eat.
The real win is the hotel complex! A beautiful, clean, lobby with ample seating, a little market to buy snacks if you'd like, an awesome POOL!!! (yeah! It warranted a trip to target for us to grab inexpensive swim suits to give it a spin!) and a more than adequate fitness centre for me to keep up my workout schedule. Loved that there was a washer/dryer to deal with wet bathing suits too!
They had no trouble giving us a late check-out at 1PM- and oh, let's get to the room! The room is huge! There's a couch, a business area (ours looked over the country, which was nice to take care of work stuff), a full kitchen, a super comfy bed, and a TV that rotates around.
The breakfast was okay- got there right at 9:30 so it was being taken away as I got there, so would have been more tasty had I woken up nice and early.
The only thing that would make this hotel better is the ability to grab a glass of wine on-site, vs. having to head out to the shopping complex. But overall, what a great, relaxing hotel!

It looks like a pretty new hotel (they're building a Courtyard right next door). Checkin as super efficient and I just love the feel of Residence Inn rooms. Very spacious and welcoming. Even though there are no dining options at the property, the room had a nice shopping and dining guide. If I find myself in Long Island again, I'll definitely stay here.

My husband and I stay have stayed at the Residence Inn located in Central Islip for the past few years. Each year we find it gets better and better!
I would like to highlight the exceptional customer service provided by the front desk employees and management staff. In particular, I would like to recognize Eileen Kievits for always going the extra mile. As a Marriott Platinum Elite member, I am constantly traveling for business. She always takes the time to welcome us back and greet us with a smile.
When traveling in Long Island, I highly recommend this property.
I would like to highlight the exceptional customer service provided by the front desk employees and management staff. Large room, good atmosphere, nice friendly staff, clean and except for the baby birds outside my window it was quiet. Good breakfast selection and plenty of parking. Close to restaurants, close to county offices, not far from airport, and has fast internet. Recommend.

This hotel is only about a year old and the rooms are in great shape, large, with windows and a nice kitchen. Great beds. Great service. They really care about the guests. Always feel welcome. I've stayed here many times and have only had excellent experience. Would definitely recommend. Nicest place in general area for sure.

This hotel is really nice. It is about a year old. The room has a comfortable seating area, nice little kitchen and comfy bed. There are real coat hangers—not those theft proof hangers that drive me crazy. They have a nice fitness center (ellipticals, treadmill, upright and recumbent bikes, dumbbells, medicine balls, exercise balls, and a weight machine). I mention the details because I did not see the fitness center listed on their website. They do mention the indoor pool and the sport court. The breakfast is fine and the staff is very friendly. The only drawbacks are you can hear the people above you so be sure to get a room on the 4th floor. Secondly the sink is outside the bathroom and near-ish the bed, so no privacy. We were unexpectedly in the area and were pleasantly surprised by the hotel.

A new hotel, immaculately clean and with abundant amenities. Great location for the Long Island beaches or a day trip to NYC by train. What impressed us most, however, was the staff. They work together, are helpful and extremely friendly. My wife and I were there for a high school reunion and had a wonderful stay. I won't stay anywhere else on Long Island now.

No...but there is a courtyard next door with a bistro menu...salads burgers and sandwiches.
You sent this to the wrong person.
USA TODAY newspaper is complimentary at the main lobby desk. It is available Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and a FRIDAY WEEKEND ISSUE. No Sunday paper at front desk, unless they can arrange this for you!
The pool hours are: 7am-11pm daily.
