We have just returned from another wonderful 3 week stay at the beautiful Royal Pacific Resort. Everything was perfect from the moment we stepped on property and everyone greets you like family straight away.
The hotel is immaculately clean throughout from the entrance, the beautiful lobby and all restaurants, bathrooms and of course our King Suite, the aroma around the hotel is very fresh too.
The proximity to the parks is one of the things that makes this hotel so perfect, a 7 minute walk to IOA or a very nice boat ride and the advantage of going through security checks before you get on the boat, if you walk the security check is by Margaritaville. The grounds are all kept immaculate too.
Housekeeping was also top notch, our Suite was cleaned thoroughly and sparkled when we returned every day, we had plenty of products that were replenished when we needed them. Calling Star Services is also so easy to contact if you do need anything.
The EP you get with staying here is second to none and excellent value.
There are some excellent restaurants on property which are all wonderful and Tuk Tuk is very convenient for last minute snacks along with some nice hot and cold food options. Orchids Sushi, Islands, Jake`s and Bula Bar are all wonderful.
The Club Lounge is excellent and food offerings are very good and staff look after you very well. Concierge and Club Staff can help with many things including dining reservations.
The staff at this hotel make the trip, they are exceptional and always so lovely and extra thanks to Marian and Andrea for making our trip extra special too, they are amazing ladies who are very dear to us.
Also, special thanks to Samuel, Raphael, Elida, Cornell and Kelli, Wayne, Brooke from downstairs, Rob, Milton and NIcholas from Bell Services, Shellonda and Colby from Orchids, Lusette our housekeeper, Egle for taking the time to come visit us, Wellington who is the most amazing gentleman, Maria from Islands and Jen, Alex, Mitchell, Aspen, Julian and Carlos for taking such good care of us in the Club Lounge, you all added so much to our trip.
We are already looking forward to our next stay later this year, if you are thinking of staying here, you won`t be disappointed.

Choosing this particular location for its proximity to Universal and perk of early access was a fun splurge. Determined to escape Winter in the North my sisters and I headed to FL to soak in some fun in the sun. From the minute you enter the resort after crossing a footbridge over a beautiful water scape, you’re greeted to a light, clean floral fragrance setting the time for your Royal Pacific getaway. Our room was so quiet and all of the staff, from the concierge’s desk to housekeeping, were always so cordial and helpful. The footpath is just a short 10 minute walk to get you to the City Walk or you can sit back and relax on one of the complimentary water taxis. May you have the chance for Luis to drive your water taxi, super sweet! So grateful for our time here. Thank you for helping us forget about our snowy Winter for at least a brief moment in time.

Overall, the resort is beautiful and big. However, our room was not the cleanest for being one of their premium resorts. You could tell that the dresser and nightstand had not been wiped down in a while, as there were really gross stains on them. I did not mention it to the room attendant, because quite honestly, by the time we got back to the room after the parks, we were too exhausted to care. Plus, we figured for only 2 days, we could endure it. We simply just refrained from putting our stuff on them. I thought that maybe after night 1, I would come back to the room and see that the stains had been cleaned, but hey had not. Unfortunately, it made us feel as if our "worse hotel fears" came true. That the room attendants only clean and wipe down areas that are visibly dirty and that they don't actually clean all areas of the room in between guests. This was our first time staying in a premium Universal hotel and we had high expectations especially for the price we paid for 2 nights. You can tell the shower was beautiful when they first renovated and still has a beautiful modern design, but was definitely in need of a deep cleaning and some regrouting. There was mildew and rusting all around the outside of the shower. The grout was very dirty and we could tell that a good cleaning had not been done in a long time. This was all unfortunate, because the bathroom is so nicely designed. As far as the public areas, the boat transportation, those were all great, but unfortunately, for us, the room is the most important area for us when determining if we will return. We have to sleep there and bathe there. It is especially a concern with an 8 year old. Not sure if I would return just based on the cleanliness of the room. Other than that, the hotel is beautiful and would be a pleasant stay. Our favorite part by far was the boat transportation to the parks AND the unlimited express pass that comes with staying there. Those are undoubtedly the greatest perks with staying here. The boat rides were so pleasant when you're going back and forth, never a line and we very rarely ever had to wait for them. The unlimited express pass is a HUGE perk and worth every penny for staying at one of their premium hotels. We were truly able to get through the park so much quicker because of this. All in all a great stay, but I hope they focus a bit more on room cleanliness, because I would actually love to return.

We stayed at Royal Pacific for the first time this weekend and we are definitely spoiled now! The hotel was beautiful with just the right amount of South Pacific theming. It was noticeable, but not kitchy and in your face. The fountain pool at the center is lovely and the Polynesian art was exquisitely done. The hotel was also impeccably clean, which was always important, but is essential now with Covid. Another big highlight was the fragrance they diffuse through the lobby. It was heavenly! We even asked them what is was so we could purchase it (Bright Sunshine, by Scentcerely).
The room was spacious, very clean, simple, and elegant and it had all the little touches that make a room great. There were plenty of outlets for charging devices, reading lights at the beds, a mini fridge, a coffee maker, little bottles of complimentary water, and even a little hand sanitizer. We had a nice view of the water and hill in front of the hotel and could see The Hulk, Dr. Doom, and RRR from our window.
Sadly it was too cold to go in the pool when we were there but it looked large, clean, and fun, thanks to the ship themed play area with waterfalls. The hot tub was closed due to Covid, as was the kiddie pool, but both were a great size.
One of the biggest draws of the hotel is its location and association with Universal. It is so close to Universal you can walk the garden path right to City Walk in less than 10 minutes. They also have a nice water taxi you can take if you want a break from walking. You also get Unlimited Express passes with your stay, which makes it more than worth the additional cost compared to other hotels in the area if you have more than 2 people.
The only suggestions I have are to add more way finding signs (getting to the pool, water taxi, and garden path can be a bit confusing if you are in any tower other than #3) and providing complimentary WiFi.
Other than those minor points, though, the hotel was perfect. I highly recommend staying there, I know we certainly will again in the future!

Very nice property located within easy walking distance to Universal Studios parks and CityWalk. Front desk staff very helpful on check in letting us know the easiest paths to get to the parks. Very useful to be able to text from cell phone to the hotel to get housekeeping, arrange a wake up call, etc. Staff at pool side arrange games and activities for kids hourly in the afternoons and my child liked doing this.
Staff there were very friendly. They offer a free milkshake or smoothie for the winners of the games. Frankly, while the hotel is nice, it is more expensive than you would expect. You are really paying for the location and the included express pass to the parks, which is worth the money.

The hotel made everything easy. The location, pool, restaurants, getting to park and fast passes make me want to go back and recommend it to others.
We did take out from the Japanese/sushi restaurant. The edamame was overflowing (my kids love it) and the rolls were solid. The hostess made sure to include a dessert with candle and matches for my wife's birthday, very considerate.
The pool food was great pool food as well. The nachos could have fed an army. The kids plates were perfect and a deal at $8.
I would stay there without the express pass bonus. Considering all members for the party get the express pass, I would consider the Lowes Royal Pacific a solid value.

My family stayed at the Club Level at Loews Royal Pacific Resort June 22-28, 2020. There were technically 3 adults (myself, husband, and 18 year old daughter) as well as a 16 year old son. I debated upgrading to Club Level because we are a teetotaling family and my travel agent said that the included alcohol is where you really get your money's worth out of the additional expense. I am happy to say that we were thrilled with the continental breakfast every morning, the afternoon snacks made for perfect lunches (Uncrustable sandwiches, assorted chips, granola bars, fruit, and peanut butter crackers), dinner (hors d'oeuvres, but plenty for us to make a good meal (even the 18 year old vegetarian was pleased), and evening sweets (large cookies and the best brownies we've had anywhere) were a delicious way to end each day. We made it back to the resort daily for lunch after spending the morning at the parks, and with the parks closing early making it back for the evening hors d'oeuvres was easy.
Which leads me to one of the perks of Royal Pacific: it's so close to Universal Studio, Islands of Adventure, and City Walk that going back for a break from the Florida heat isn't a big deal, and neither is returning after that break. The included Express Passes had us absolutely spoiled and I'm not sure that I would want to go back to the parks without it, even with reduced capacity it was nice to nearly walk right on to most rides, when the regular lines were between 15 and 30 minutes (our experience Tuesday through Thursday, Friday was much busier). The Express Pass is what sold me on staying at a premier resort and was definitely a worthwhile perk.
The resort itself is gorgeous, but the staff is really what made our stay so memorable. The ladies working the Club Level Lounge in Tower 3 were absolutely delightful and attentive to our needs. And it wasn't just there, either; from our check-in at 1:30 am until we collected our suitcases from Luggage Services before catching our Uber, we experienced nothing but true hospitality.
We didn't mind not having daily housekeeping, it was easy enough to text to request fresh towels or to have our trash emptied, and it was actually kind of nice to know that no one else was going into our room while we were out. This was a once in a lifetime trip celebrating our Harry Potter lovig daughter's high school graduation, but I'd book again at Loews Royal Pacific Resort in a heartbeat.

We were able to take advantage of very good rates for January 2020 that were offered in October. Staying at this resort included the Universal Express Pass which was a huge money saver when factoring at least 2 people per room. For us, the Express Pass was a must because we traveled with small children who have little patience (even with the shorter off season lines); as such, we were able to better manage our time and get several rides in each day. The property at the Royal Pacific is well kept and the pool is quite nice as well; we would have loved to enjoy it further but the weather did not permit us to. We ate at the Island Dining room several times; breakfast was great, dinner was okay. Located close to City Walk and parks, the ferry is great option especially when you're tired from walking the parks all morning and want to get back for a little nap or R&R. That said, the walk to/from the hotel along the lagoon is quite pleasant as you are surrounded by well manicured landscaping throughout the 10 minute (stretching it out to 15 when trying to get the little one to nap in a stroller) walk. The only negative for us was the cost of bottled water which is expensive on property, at City Walk, and throughout the parks.

I stayed here with friends at the beginning of March 2020. There were 4 of us staying in one room, and it was definitely tight. The rooms were clean enough, but we were wanting for outlets, especially since there were hardly any right by the bed and one of those few outlets was being taken up by a very outdated iPod clock that didn't even work. My biggest complaint though is the bathrooms. They offer absolutely NO privacy. The toilet and shower area are only blocked by a sliding glass door that allows you to see every shadow behind it. Not only can you pretty much see everything going on behind that door, but because it isn't an actual door, it allows for echoing and sound amplification... Any time someone got up to use the bathroom in the night, the flushing woke all of us up. I don't recommend staying in this room if you are staying with more than one person.

I was pretty disappointed to find that the hotel was quite dated. Additionally, the Starbucks in the lobby was small and had a long line every morning because it was attached to the shop. The customer service wasn't anything to write home about it either.
The biggest perks are the free fast passes per person and the fact that you can walk to the parks. However, it is still a lengthy walk, but these make up for everything else. You can also purchase souvenirs from the parks and send them back to the room so that you don't have to carry them around (if you aren't checking out the next day). This was another huge perk for me. I am a big souvenir person (especially at Universal), so it was great to purchase something and have it waiting in my room for me by the time I got back from the parks.
The pool area was nice and large, although there were some ducks in the water and that seemed a bit unsanitary. We had no problem finding a place to sit and enjoyed drinks and nachos from the pool bar. They even offer a small discount if you reuse your cup for your next drink.
Overall, this is a nice hotel. For the money, I was a little disappointed (but again the fast passes really make it a deal). I most likely won't choose to stay at this hotel again. I would opt for the Aventura despite that it doesn't offer the fast passes because of it's fun atmosphere, outstanding customer service, and great bars and food court.

With everything being shut down for much of 2020 we took decided to take a much needed year end trip to Universal and decided on the Royal Pacific resort. We found the resort very clean and all employees were following strict safety protocols. Every guest had to get their temperature taken upon arrival and were then given a colored wrist band. This procedure was repeated every morning upon exiting and different colored wrist band given for that day. Housekeeping was contactless and they would only come if requested and all guests had exited the room. We had no issues and felt very safe even being in a hotel full of strangers. Combined with the early park admission and express pass unlimited we felt this was the place for us and will only stay here while visiting Universal.
