If there is a place to represent Shenzhen, Coco Park is the answer. This vast commercial complex includes some of the most popular restaurants and international brands in the Guangdong boomtown. It is also a popular local hangout option during weekends. A good start to explore the city.

The mall has something for everyone, including foreigners. Mix of low, medium, and high end brands. Hoe to many eateries, cafes, a bar, a kids' playground

It's raining day and we went to Futian Qu to take a break! With shelter all along from Lok Ma Chau mtr, no worries about raining or not! There are so many different varieties of restaurant here! We tried the spicy fish "Tian Yu" and it's nice but abit too salty. Then we tried the seasonal limited Iced Mango from Heytea. It's a wonderful place to walk and relax a weekend here!

There is a bar street across the road from the mall lined with bars and nightclubs. Most nights are great just watch out for holidays and weekend crowds. No entry fee best places are Mojo, Sicilia for hiphop or Eden.

The mall is very easily accessible from Hk/China border by metro.
There are plenty of restaurants to choose from. Try the durian pizza or the famous tea shops (though need to queue a bit for the tea). Oh there’s a bookshop with cafe. But books are mainly in Chinese.
There’s a play ground for kids at the centre of the mall.

In the heart of the Futian CBD, this mall/shopping center offers the tourist the best of western and oriental eateries. There are also many other attractions such as cinema's,
play center for kids and best of all, for those looking for some night life, a choice of many clubs and pubs.
Can definitely recommend.

I really like this mall because of the diversity of it, many different stores, many different food items... The shopping, i would say is on the pricier end... But you can find some great resturants here...

...which is why we'll probably be back when we next visit this city. There was also a good atmosphere in the central balcony area, a mix of friends, couples and families. So far we've only eaten at BAIA Burger Concept...but that was amazing! Also, some decent shops to look at and maybe even buy from.

Whether you're Shenzhen for the night-life, shopping or entertainment, Coco Park will absolutely charm you. Reminiscent of Cebu's The Terraces-Ayala, this area has practically everything: restaurants, cafes, bars, kids' play zones, boutiques, gift shops, cinema, shopping mall. What's cool is that right beside the Park is the magnificent, towering Ping An Finance Centre, at 600 meters it is currently the fourth tallest building in the world. Our family dined and shopped at Coco Park a few times since the area was just a few minutes walk from the hotel where we stayed in.

Getting there: Take the Shenzhen Metro (Line 1-Green line) and alight at the Shopping Park station, exits C or F.
